SOBER GHOSTS MESS WITH TIPSY BAR PATRONS

Customers at a bar in Berwyn, Ill., are seeing more than pink elephants when they drink...they're seeing dead people, says bar owner Ronnie Lottz. Lottz claims his Cigars and Stripes watering hole has been haunted by three mischievous ghosts for several years. The ghosts don't drink but do like to mess with patrons by sliding their keys down the bar!! and slipping martini shakers. They also like to make "shadow apperances" on the walls and hang out by the bathroom. According to Lottz, two of the ghosts are the spirits pf people who died in the building. The third ghost is called 'The Rose" and likes to freak out pators by sitting in a seat at the bar!!!!! ooh-ahh... no way I'm going there

Anyone else here got the Halloween themed Mozilla Firefox browser installed at the moment? It's very black and orange :p

^I tried downloading that, but this stupid computer wouldn't let me! Oh well...

Halloween is tomorrow night, and we just now carved our two pumpkins. We saved everything til the very last minute. I'm still costume-less and fake blood-less :( ... Oh well, I guess I'll figure something out... But in the meantime, I have a few pictures:

our lame yard ...not what I was hoping for. It looks very tacky, especially since we're the only ones on our street that did that! haha

pumpkin 1 That's the pumpkin my mom made. She's a crazy cat lady, so she made a cat pumpkin...go figure.

pumpkin 2 This is my pumpkin. It was supposed to look scary, but it actually looks like it's laughing! haha  Oh well...

Oh your decorations aren't lame! At least you did something. The wind keeps blowing our ghosts over - I'll be glad when tomorrow is over!

i carved pumpkins at home this weekend and they are some of my best yet! my only artistic ability is with pumpkins  i dont cut pieces out, i have tools to carve just the skin off. one is a freaky witch and the other is a grim reaper next to a spooky tree with an owl. our digital camera has gone missing so i couldnt take pictures of them :(
i dont have a pumpkin at my place at school, no way to get one home! and last year my roommate got me one to carve, but we only had 3 people come to the door :( i swear, everyone else in my complex turns off every light in their condo. i think i live in an anti-halloween zone.
i love it though, but i dont have a costume or anywhere to go tomorrow, so ill just stay in and find a scary movie to watch :D

eta: haha, i found other pictures of the patterns i used!
grim reaper
the witch pattern in the middle
except mine are so much cooler because of the way i carved them :D

haha, well thanks. At least it wasn't a total waste of effort. We were out in the freezing cold windy weather putting that stuff up! And you wouldn't believe how hard it was! Stuff was flying everywhere... it was not fun.

And that idea about staying in and watching a scary movie doesn't sound bad at all right now. There's almost no point in dressing up at all if you don't have any fake blood :(... and I think Shaun of the Dead is supposed to come on tv tomorrow night :D

I've decided that I'm gonna dress up as Athena, the Greek goddess of Athena. I'm gonna wear a cream toga with a gold belt around the waist. My shoes are gonna be gold sandals that tie around the ankle. As for my hair I'm gonna curl it & then tie it up in a high bun with a few loose strands falling around my face. My makeup is gonna be more subtle but I'm gonna wear a lot of pink colours on my face. I can't wait :D.

blackened, your decorations aren't lame! I really love the cobwebs in the bushes. :D

I am just now getting around to posting the pictures of my Halloween stuff. Here goes...
Ghosts holding hands This was my Grandmother's idea, so I guess it's cute...

Terrace, Spppoookky, and poor nameless slob

And last but not least: Lucinda! This one is hanging from our HUGE pine tree in front of our house. People are constantly screeching to a halt in their cars to see what the heck is in our yard!

I can't wait to dress up tomorrow! Perhaps I'll post pics after taking my little sister trick or treating. :D

You lucky tater tots. People don't really celebrate Halloween here, well, in some parts of the city they do, but overall, it's just selling Halloween stuff for no reason. I'm watching scary movies all night long till I wet my pants!

I went all out on my decorating this year....probably because it's the last year I'll be here in this town for Halloween. I had to go out with a bash! (not that I wouldn't have if I weren't moving! Halloween is just my day, that's all I can say.)

I really can't see myself posting all the pics of my yard, so if ya really want to , check out my blog on myspace. The link to my page is in my profile.

There isn't Halloween here, tomorrow is holiday and people goes to the cemeteries to bring flowers to the loved ones that passed away.
Anyway,we have Carnival on February and that's really funny.
