Best / worst profession.

Daquien

Coroner
There was a poll in Spain about which was the best and the worst profession.
The results were:
Best one:doctor,physician.
Worst one:being in the army.

Which do you think is the best and the worst profession?

I'm not entirely sure but this is what my personal view is:

Best: either being a CSI or a dentist. CSI because it is so great, although would be extremely demanding. Dentist because they have one of the highest paying jobs!
Worst: being one of those people that puts the adverts on billboards, having to do all the paste and stuff like that

Best: Teacher :) But that's because it's generally seen as an easy job.. lot of people tend to forget that teachers take their job home with them. People underestimate it. And when you do it well, you earn a lot of respect.

Worst: Mineworkers.. well I don't think we really have them here, but I know that those working conditions are horrible.

Best: I'm going to say doctor but them im biased :), it's not an easy job but seeing the difference that can be made within a person's life it's well worth it at the end of the day.

Worst: Cab driver, I have so much respect for all those taxi drivers that spend their days sitting in New York traffic it would drive my insane.

Best: Teacher/Doctor- get the most respect from people even if it's hard work.

Worst: Poo-muckers. :p Ive seen a documentary on this and I FEEL sorry for the men that have to do this. But also coal miners.

Best...not having to work at all.
Worst: floor porter/janitor. Not the ones that are paid a lot of money, the ones that are paid minimum wage.

Yeah, scene of the crime officer would be kind of cool too. As long as you didn't have any kind of problem with what you were dealing with, LOL.

I'm with you on heiress being the best profession, Laetri :D

for the worst...i'm gonna say the people that have to put the "thin ice" signs on the ice..:D or the people that have to fix highly dangerous power lines..

Worst: Farmer
Seriously, you are stuck with it 24/7...356days/year. Long hours and at least here it was counted when adding all up, farmer earns bit over 4€/h.
Then icky moments when like... well I had to push cow's womb back inside while waiting for a vet or help them if there's trouble in calving.... like stick your arm inside them and try to get calf's legs and head to come out right...

Oh yes, I'm with ye on that one.. that'll be a bad bad job.

See, that'll keep me away from being a farmer...that and having chilren....seriously, you had to shove the woumb back in there? I can't even stand cleaning up kitty upchuck...which would be why I also wouldn't be a good janitor...
