"73 Seconds" Discussion **SPOILERS**

Secondly, I'm imagining Sara's next conversation with Gil: "You won't believe it, honey, but I've discovered a fetish that might disgust Heather.":)

I honestly believe that at this point Grissom and Heather have probably heard/seen it all.... :wtf:

I kind of hope Sara's on that case, since Jorja's a huge animal advocate IRL and that's filtered into Sara.

The preview showed Sara working on the shootout case with Nick and DB, so I'd say it's a given she'll be working it as well and I hope the writers include a little snippet of Sara's reaction to it. It would be nice to see some of Jorja's traits influencing the way her character is written.

Is it confirmed that this is still a two case episode? I thought there was meant to be a B-case involving a young man's face with an old man's body but we've heard or seen nothing else about that yet.

"Sorry folks: can't tweet spoilers. It's a very strong start w/ a great final scene. Starts off as a team case before Greg & Sara work Bcase."

That was on Shane's twitter. It's nice to see Greg and Sara working together again..

From the Las Vegas Revue Journal. This is the part that is pertinent to this episode. If you want to read the whole thing I put the link in the main spoiler thread. :)

Although most of the series is shot at Southern California's Universal Studios, occasional location forays keep the Vegas in "CSI."

At least in Wednesday's season opener.

Titled "73 Seconds," the episode focuses on a shooting on a tram between two fictional casinos, notes Don McGill , one of the show's executive producers.

Writer Gavin Harris "rode on one of the real trams to see how many seconds" elapsed between stops -- and "what kind of mayhem" could ensue, McGill notes.

"CSI" cast and crew members visited Las Vegas in July to shoot at locations ranging from downtown's Golden Nugget and Fremont Street Experience to Strip-adjacent sites on Tropicana and Hacienda avenues.

Carrot Top even contributed an onboard "Welcome to the Las Vegas" video for the "CSI" tram ride. ("Fortunately for us, he didn't stay on script," McGill jokes.)

From CSI Files
Review CSI: Crime Scene Investigation- Hello, Ted Danson

and more light is shed on Greg’s family

......HOLY CRAP!! YES!! YES!! YES!!:hugegrin::hugegrin: Maybe the writers are listening after all!!!

Hodges does an autopsy with David...that ought to interesting and funny

So Nick's been to a training seminar? For what? Not what I was expecting him to come back from but okay

Can't wait to see more of Ted and Marg's chemistry, Ecklie and Morgan's full conversation, and Greg and Sara working together :)

Thank you Shane!! :):)

Okay, the show just started and I have to make a comment.

I've waited all summer to see new credits for them not to have updated Marg, George, Wallace, Dave, and Brass.

Yeah, I can take him. I'm bitter about the demotion, but I like him so far.

Hands up, who heard the collective groan when they said Ray was railroaded? *raises hand*

I have to say I'm absolutely loving D.B. so far. :)

I'm agreeing with you. :) Shocking, isn't it? ;)

*RAISES HAND* :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Hah, I called it, Nick was losing his office. Still trying to figure out if he was demoted, though I'm guessing he was.

Does it matter? Probably not, but just want to know.

Where did all the bugs comes from all of a sudden on a subway?

Yep... Nicky went back to Hawaii for a bug class.

Sara's grin when she says welcome back hehe.

"You must be contaminating the crime scene".

"That's about how long it took you to size me up, which is not bad cause he's still working on it" lol.

I've waited all summer to see new credits for them not to have updated Marg, George, Wallace, Dave, and Brass.

They haven't updated Eric's either. They still have that same one of Greg holding up that piece of evidence and grinning.

Nick looked annoyed that DB called Dave "Supe" lol. He was like "hey, that's only supposed to be my nickname for him". lol.

"Saunders" LOL.

LOL at Greg and Sara's conversation about DB.

"Too many bubbles" LOL.

IA railroaded Ray? Does that mean he was fired or forced to resign? Kind of vague there.

The trick with the bag is kind of neat.

"Somebody brought a knife to a gun fight?" - hehe didn't they have a line like that in an early season? One of them said "who brings a knife to a gun fight?" and Grissom replied, "the killer".

His wife wants to know if there's a farmers market in Vegas. Love Cath and Nick's blank stares.

Sharpei chest... interesting description.

Greg's grin when he says he knows what happened. So cute.

"Ray Langston screws up and we all gotta pay for it; just great". Love that they had Nick say what a lot of fans are probably thinking.

Greg stuttering around Morgan is adorable. Love Nick's "dude, don't even think about it" when Greg says "that's Ecklie's daughter?" hehe. Me thinks Greggo is smitten.

Did they cut Nick's "do I look like an angel" line?

So Greg's family hunts deer, but he doesn't. I'm with Sara on the tool Greg's cousin was using on the deer... that is gross.

"Oh, yi... head rush". Heh, I do that all the time.

So DB's son is in college. Wonder if that's his only kid.

DB Moonbeam lol.

"I know where the door is, I've used it a few times." LOL, I love how he says that so calmly.

DB texting them all that breakfast is on him when he hears them Cath and Nick fighting.
