'Take My Life, Please!' Discussion *SPOILERS*

This was way better than all the other episodes this season with regards to Greg, but it still wasn't really enough. He was almost like Nick's lapdog the whole episode...is Nick really in that much of a higher position than Greg by now? I had flashbacks of when Greg was being taught the ropes by everyone a long time ago...
Nick is second-in-command, therefore, yeah he is 'that much higher' than Greg. In the work world, that's the way it is.

My favorite scene was with Sara and Bobby D; her looks while he was 'posing' was great.

Bobby looks so different with the beard. Wow!

I thought Sara and Ray worked really, really welll together. They make a great team.

Well, Nick-second-in-command is showing more and more in every new epp. I'm not sure if I like that or not, it's natural course of things, but he gets to be more patronising, and that is what I don't like about him. Don't get me wrong, I adore Nick and his development as a character, but that one trait is not sitting well with me.

Greg and his 'younger days' :guffaw: Oh boy. It's that time in life when he can say something like it. I enjoyed him there, I really do. I loved him in this epp. And his clothes. I mean - all dark and gray and here come the neon bright red snickers  Go Greg!

Brass was great. I love that cop, he's such a character. And how he let Tilly (sorry if I mistaked the ladies name) play with his hand and fingers. I just love him for all that he says, and for all the faces and looks.

Hodges and Ray. Yeah, that's magnesium carbonite powder, right :guffaw: I was sorry 'cause Wendy was not there, but hopefully we'll get to see her more in the next one. Ray and Sara work great together, but I still don't like the guy. He's just someone 'to fill in the numbers' for me. I'm sorry, he's a great actor and a very good character, but I just can't bring myself to care about him. Don't know why, please forgive me.

I like the epp. Story about old Vegas more than the other, but that other was just so sad. Talk about karma. It's probably why we say 'what goes around comes around'.

After watching i scanned my memory alittle... :p

Old Vegas, old comedians, nice Greg time , a finger in the body, bullets and guns, happy and funny Greg, Nick's nice ehm.. pants, blue pills :guffaw:(i guess i like that scene most ) , Brass's funny face, Brad Pittish guy, Brass's funnier face, hmm Greg is looking fine, funny Bobby , Sara and the colorful sticks,Ray and his dad, Hodges and the red hairs, where is Cath? , this is the end?...

I just couldn't concentrate both cases enough because of various reasons:wtf: Planning to see it again soon.

pretty good ep over all :)

fairly decent amount of greg time and i think this is the first time he ever did the opening line :), mentioning greg's crazy hair from the earlier days :), no mention of his book :( but i'm not surprised

the screentime was somewhat even except for catherine, she had like 2 minutes and wendy who was m.i.a., we've hardly seen her this season at all, and no wedges either :(:(

i'd also like doc and super dave to have a few extra scenes before the season endss, maybe see them outside the lab or see them hanging out in the morgue, like when they were watching movies at the end of the chick chop flick shop, something like that :)

tily playing with brass' hands and fingers, could you imagine what it must of been like for him and her to film that  i hope there's some behind the scenes features in the dvd of them filming that part

next week looks soooo awesome, can't wait :):)

I liked the B case better...more interesting, but if it really was an accident, why on earth did the one guy just happen to be there...the one whose family had been killed in the abortion clinic bomb??

Why was Brass sitting on that side of the table so close to the wife?? :wtf: It was kind of weird.

The finger in the body...I thought immediately of a Criminal Minds case where the victim was missing his fingers and there were fingers inside of him....but someone ELSE'S fingers! Ewww! Turned out not to be so complicated tho.

First case...kind of lame, I thought, tho they did fool me as I noticed the wifey's nails and bottle of water right away. I liked Nick getting all in that guy's face and then Greg fighting with the girl! I love old Vegas stuff too, but the case just didn't do it for me.

The 'old Vegas' case could have been more interesting. Knuckles kept saying " I love you." to Nash. He even told Brass that he loved Nash.
THAT would have been a more interesting case; that Knuckles killed Nash because he loved him, not because he was 'loosing his funny.'

Jennifer Tilly and Tim Conway were good as the dysfunctional older man/younger woman couple. I loved the part where Knuckles said, "its a game we play." Made you think it was 'one of those kinds of games.'

Like everyone said, it sort of fell flat. Good storyline but fell flat in the end.

The second case was predictable. Once I saw the van and the shooting range... well you know how he got full of bullets. Did they ever explain how his finger got inside himself???

Oh and by the way, it's 1,200 miles from Seattle to Vegas. That's a pretty darn long walk!

The comic timing of Tim Conway was I think, the saving part of the episode. He will still be Barnacle Boy from SpongeBob to me. ;)

Sara and Ray working together also was nice to see. They do work together well.

I actually think it's a great quality. Far better than the early days when the writers wrote Nick as a dufus who blushed at liquid latex jokes. I think it shows he's grown into his position.

Sara and Ray working together also was nice to see. They do work together well.
I agree they work very well together. They make a great team. I hope the writers take note.

With the B story, I found myself asking why the guy just didn't call the cops. If his operation was perfectly legal, then there would have been no charges pressed. It was a tragic accident. An oversight.

 My oveview of ths episode. and big kudos to the writing team of Rambo & Abraham, good job guys:bolian:I like A & B stories, keeps it interesting~

Old Vegas, reminicent of "Kiss Kiss Bye Bye" and "Living Legend", It's fun to see how it used to be~

Knuckles amd Mash, with their silly, cheesy jokes, then and now. Nash losing it, and forgetting his lines. Terpsy what a ditz also like the woman in "Ending Happy" Then Nash is found dead. Greg to Nick "They were the "Rat Pack" at the Sands in '62' and this was a reunion of them, they haven't done this in 30 years:wtf:

Doc examing the body and seemily alcohol related~

Ray and Cath finding the rotted corpse "Swiss Cheese" EWWW:( the special effects that these writers present phenomenal, riddled with bullets, so what happened?

Nick finds a singe strand of red hair on Bernie, and Scratches on his back with gold specks~

Brass and Knuckles, with Terpsy in the background butting in with her ideas with him giving Brass the run-around~Knuckles~ Greg: "Was it the alcohol"
Knuckles "How could you possibly know that, it happened before you were even born"

Sara and Super Dave with the bullet riddled body and she finds a dismembered finger and fingerprints it, it was Kurtis Torse and wanted fugitive on the run for bombing an abortion clinic and killing 27 people~

Sara and Ray, they work so well together, so in tune and on the same page. Ray:"This was a dangerous man"

Doc to Nick "Bernie drowned"~

Cath talks to wife, and she hadn't seen him since the bombing!

Sara with Kurtis who had 127 bullets wounds, Ray "Porcupine Man" He shares a tid-bit about his dad firing rounds of amunition, and she flashes that beautiful smile:D

Greg talking to the showgirls, he's so cute & coy and kinda of shy~

Sara and Bobby with the results of the gun, and her and Ray go to the gun store and find NO blood~

Cath and a Brad Pitt look-a-like, his relatives were killed in that bombing and he was elated that Kurtis was dead:thumbsup:

Brass and Terpsy, such a air-head [Meg Tilly] good job as this character She said she was trying to protect her marriage and called Kunckles her "little hampster" Bernie has caught her a a young stud and he was going to tell on her unless she slept with him. She goes to Brass "He couldn't do ziltch" Brass" Well doping his drink with oxzycotin" Terpsy :"When I left he was alive" Brass "well now he's dead":cardie:

Hodges and Ray, [who seems a bit intimated by Ray] found Magnesium. Ray's expressions are awesome around Hodges:rommie:

Ray and Sara at firing range, talks to the owner who at first seems to know nothing, when on furthur probing relaize that this guy Kurtis had found a empty van, crawled in to sleep, not realizing that it was the firing range's target. After Ray and Sara snoop about they find evidence and finally the guy spills his guts. He found the poor guy dead and wrapped him in a tarp and dumped him in Vegas. Usually ti's the opposite, body dumping in the desert.

Hodges find tainted water with iron rust~

Nick and Greg break up a dispute between two people a guy and girl and find oxzy in her ourse, I have no idea how these two were connected, but they find [Nick and Greg] an old ice machine with the same water. Also Greg goes into great detail about hair-pieces and the red hair was from Knuckles hair piece~

So Brass goes to talk to Knuckles and he spills. Bernie was not getting any laughes anymore "he'd lost his funny" and so he put him out of his misery cause' "he loved him" "He'd have done the same for me" 'It would have been perfect if you hadn't come to town" "Maybe I'd lost my funny too" He do anything for a laugh. :(Then the background music of Frank Sinatra singing "The Last Dance", while having the old hotel/casinos being imploded:mad:

Tim Conway was good in this role, and was probably happy to be in a CSI episode. Good stories, both of them and always different. I give it a 10:bolian:~

I didn't like this one. I have ADD, and this did NOTHING for me. In fact, I made it to about when Bobby D. did his pose, and I couldn't tell you anything before that, except that I liked Catherine's hair.

Maybe I'll give it another shot later, but for now? Nope.

I hope the final three of the season are much better than this.

I usually like every single episode and I found this one boring.Only moments I liked were Brass with the comic's wife,The reference to Greg crazy days and Catherine interrogating the suspect.I was expecting more and like so many said both endings were flat.Next week looks great.

Another great episode! I find the two cases equally interesting. I like Nick and Greg's case because of Jennifer Tilly! I thought she was a little bit underused in the episode because she only had one big moment: her and Brass scene was awesome! I wanted more!

Ray and Sara's case is also great! I never thought a body would be that intact after hundreds of shots fired at him. I remember in CSI: Miami's "Guerrillas in the Mist" when they had this imaginary weapon called "vaporizer". In that case, the body "vaporizes" in thin air. As in no whole body was recovered. However, it was firing a lot of rounds in just one shot. Maybe that could answer the difference in the body's condition. Anyway, so much for the gross stuff. But I believe in CSI: LV more! :)

I also like the rapport between Ray and Sara. They work together very well. I wish more Catherine but I enjoyed her scene with the suspect. :)

I liked the episode but in typical CSI fashion things convienently fell into place. Nick and Greg were at the crime scene several times and nobody noticed the ancient looking ice machine sitting conspicuously in the corner? Catherine was floating around like Casper the friendly ghost and Sara and Langston had great chemistry working together. The real thing that saved this episode for me was Sara and the colored sticks in the body. It made me almost wish that I could be shot 101 times so I get colored sticks in my body. :)

Knuckles & Nash in 74... the year Greg was born. :)

"One last laugh." Greg got the one liner. :D

Ray: Hands blown off, feet blown off.
Superdave: With what a bazooka?

Aww Nick's sweet to leave Doc a breakfast burrito. Heh Doc called him "my boy".

Yeesh! Once Sara got all those wound indicator sticks in the vic, he looked like a porcupine! I thought this a little before Ray actually called the vic "porcupine man".

LOL at Greg's blue pill talk. Is it just me or did he seem to be rambling nervously around Nick like he used to around Grissom?

Bobby! :D  at the pose.

The girl flirting with Greg and his nervous chuckle after her comment. He's adorable.

LOL at the blonde guy jumping up and shouting "yes!" when he found out the guy who killed his family was dead. Catherine's startled reaction was funny too.

Why is Brass letting Terpsey play with his fingers?

LOL at the Hodges/Ray scene.

Greg and the hair dye talk. Loved Nick's little grin as Greg is talking about his younger more experimental days.

The motive for the comic's death was definitely different.

Solid A for this ep. :)
