Bobby D. and Det. Vartann. It's about time Bobby D. showed up. And I much prefer Vartann, Vega, and Cavalier to bringing in any new detectives.

Trent sounds familiar. I know I've heard it before but I can't remember what ep it was in. The've been real lazy on names lately.

Don't tell anyone I popped in here :) but I love the fact that Bobby D and Vartann are back :)

The actor who is playing Trent played Hank Marlowe in Face Lift.

There are probably more, but the little girls in "Cats in the Cradle"...their last name was Trent.

Since I just can't let things be without knowing...

It was Mike Trent & Laurel Trent in Early Rollout (season 4) that I was thinking of. :)

Yay! Bobby D is back! Missed him a lot!

And glad to see the Vartann is back as well.

James Eckhouse is in this ep? I remember him as Brandon and Brenda's dad on the original BH 90210.

I don't know if this has already been posted, but for those of you who haven't seen it, a video of "Better Off Dead" airs Dec. 17~

Is this the last episode before the New Year? It just seems a little darker than I would expect for a pre-Christmas episode.

I am pretty sure it is the last one before the holiday. I think they should have flipped the order of airing last week's this week and vice versa.

Holy Crap! Are tptb reading this board? :shifty:

Are the getting Catherine and Vartann together?

Fifteen minutes left on the show and I had to come post that.

~I can't help but like the mother and her badassery.
~I loved Sara's smirk at Catherine and Vartann.
~"There's something under that label." Here, Greg, open it.
~"What's this about?" "An overdue library book." *g* Oh, the number of times that I wish I could kick down someone's door and search their house for books that they don't return.
~"Gee. Thanks." Hee.
~Wow. I can't figure if Sam is horribly lucky or horribly unlucky.
~Aw. It was a very good try though, Sara.
~Ha. That guy just can't kill himself. Take the hint, buddy.

No new episode next week, because of this thing called "Christmas Eve". You may or may not have heard of it.

I liked this episode. It was an interesting tie-in with the two cases actually being a couple and how it all turned out. I felt sorry for Sam. Poor guy.

Catherine and Vartann....woohooo! I like.

Nice to see Bobby D again and his knowledge of the gun stuff.

It was funny how Catherine handed over the book for Greg to remove the label. I liked Greg joking around with Catherine. Nice to see that again.

I'm still wondering what happened to the "new job/promotion" Greg was supposed to get?

I liked how once again they cut back on the Ray scenes. I think they are reading our board and seeing we want to see more of the original actors on the show over the new guy!

I love all things Cath/Sara. These friendship scenes SHOULD have been happening all along. It's a great way to take advantage of Marg and Jorja's real-life friendship and chemistry. I hope the writers have finally gotten a clue and we'll get to see more of this from now on. :)

(Oh and I like that it wasn't entirely Ray, Ray, Ray tonight. Still a lot of him, but not as bad. Maybe the original cast will keep becoming more and more of the main focus of the show so I can feel like I'm watching CSI, and not the Ray Langston show. lol.)

I still like and want my CatNip.

I was surprised a bit by the ending. I was ready to yell "Sar-a!!!" because it looked like she just made Red Shirt die, and then the airbag was there.

Did anyone else keep thinking of Star Trek with the Red Shirt thing? And I'm not even a Trekkie lol

Wow. That was what three failed suicide attempts? I think I would have been okay with the guy falling to his death, it actually for whatever reason didn't occur to me that the airbag was there.
CSI tends to connect the different cases a lot... at least it feels like the episode starts off with two different cases and a lot of the time they merge into a single case.

Is it sad I was more upset about the death of the dog than Carrie's death?

I was also glad that it wasn't a Ray-centric episode.
