L&O doesn't typically have blatant "look at us! we're doing character development moments!"; it's little stuff sprinkled throughout (granted, the plot is usually more important than the characters; at least, that's the impression from what I've seen). Green getting shot was also out of nowhere...

Well, here's some good news: Mitch Pileggi, best known (to me, anyways) as Assistant Director Walter Skinner on The X-Files, will be portraying Colonel Caldwell on Atlantis next season. He'll be arriving on the Daedalus and will be replacing Sheppard as the ranking military officer on the base.

All I have to say is thank god "Moebius" wasn't the SG-1 series finale, because that episode just sucked.
