Let us hope that the glasses were not the source of his powers, like they are for Horatio.

 Yes, that would be unfortunate.

I've got to admit, it would seem that I am already used to the lack of glasses. If no one had mentioned that he wasn't wearing them in "Enough" I genuinely wouldn't have noticed that anything was different. ;)

Stop sippin' the haterade, Elsie.

:p

   Best. Quote. Ever!!!!

^^ It still sounds like a funny project.

Agreed--that cracks me up, PA! The "Save Danny's Glasses" project.

As for the news that the glasses are indeed gone...*clears throat*

FAY ANGRY! FAY SMASH! FAY WILL NOT STAND FOR DIS OUTRAGE!

 The rage of Fay has been awakened!!! Glasses haters beware!!

Flack agrees:

Oh, I don't know about that. Flack always seems to want. ;)

I will definitely miss Danny with glasses. I always loved when he put them on his forehead too look into the microscope.

I hope the comment on it, maybe he got contacts?

Me no likey.

Honestly, I agree with the posts above that the glasses were part of Danny's character and that not having them blurs the line between Carmine Giovanazzo and Danny Messer.

I do wonder if they're going to mention it. I hope they do simply for continuity.

They can't really explain it away as contacts because it's my understanding that you cannot wear them in the lab, because if some of the corrosive chemicals get in your eye and you have them on, they will melt the lens into your eyeball or something similar, and you'll be in a world of hurt.

As a seasoned lab rat myself I confirm - no contacts in the lab unless you wear the type of lab glasses that fully enclose your eyes (they don't on CSI). If you get anything acidic in your eye it will melt the contact on to your eye - not good.

I also agree that they are totally blurring the lines between Carmine and Danny, surely Carmine became an actor inorder to challenge himself by protraying characters removed from himself.

It's nice to have lab rates in our presence. Thanks for that confirm!

Yes, I am sure Carmine likes being an actor for that reason. Why be yourself if you are supposed to be someone else?

Dear TPTB:

BRING BACK THE GLASSES!!!!

I'll admit, it's not a quote I'm familiar with so I'm not sure what you're implying... :p ;)

They'll have truly blurred the lines when Danny starts wearing quirky hats. I'd laugh so hard if Danny turned up to the lab in one of those crazy hats that Carmine seems to like to wear when he's out and about in LA. I can just imagine the comments that the rest of the team would make...

Whoops...didn't even think of what the chemical could do to contact. Stupid me.

I agree with the previous posts too that it blurs the line between actor and character. Although I think I have seen Carmine Giovinazzo wear one of the jackets that Danny wear in some pictures of an event or out an about.

Oh, I was just quoting Fay because the pun on gatorade cracked me up. I don't think it's a quote from anything.

Nooooooooooooo!!! Getting rid of the glasses is bad enough. If Danny starts wearing hats... :scream: :scream: :scream:

Danny in the lab wearing hats......well, it would definetely be different. That'd actually be kind of funny and yet really not.
At least someone might notice it if he started doing that. Since no one apparently cares that his glasses have gone MIA.

OH GOD! Heaven help. He has one hat that just makes me cring when I see him in it. You know that pimp daddy hat he wears cocked to the side. It does him NO justic.:wtf:

Here I found the hat I hate on him:

It makes him look like a pimp daddy! I mean, yes everything else has got it going on, but just not the hat.
