    Re: Danny/Lindsay #22: I've fallen in love with you...and I can't let

You're not wrong - of course back then we were totally upset with what little D/L we got in the beginning of season 4:brickwall: Season 3 ended with SD, the 'lunch on a skyscraper' promo pic came out and they were referred to as 'forming a perfect heart', we were promised that their relationship would 'deepen', etc., but we quickly learned that we did not even get solid confirmation that they were really together ...perhaps we had our hopes up too high, but I don't think we could really be blamed for that...:scream:

edit: pretty much what Liffy ^ said :p

Unfortunately it's true that when writers pick real life drama to use in their shows, they alsways go for the drama that most people can relate to, thus we get loved ones dying, family in trouble and people cheating...only difference with real life is that on TV the hurt and grief that these events cause is often gone and forgotten in just a couple of eps...:wtf:

So, when they decide to solve the D/L mess before the end of this season, I can only agree with those who said that there should be no more drama for them in season 5...we now know not to hope for too much, so just give them a couple of fun scenes like in season 2 and like in CS and that will be quite enough for us...:)

:guffaw: Start making tracks, cowboy

I agree. As much as I would like to see a date scene, I think all we would really get, would be a conversation they are having and slip it in. Verbally, kind of pushes more towards they actually have a relationship (because they are making plans together, etc.) where physical people can say they were just having sex, being friendly, or whatever.

I feel for you guys...I remember reading those spoilers and being very excited and now? A little ticked off. You don't make those kind of promises and then end up ignoring them! Although, I think the writers strike played a major part in this debacle so I was wondering how this would of been handled if there was no strike?

I don't think there shouldn't be any drama, just maybe not HUGE drama like cheating or being responsible for the death of someone. Maybe the two could disagree on a case or something. Make their "drama" case-related not a case for a new soap opera.

I was wondering the same. I don't know where, but I remember that I read in an interview that if the strike hadn't been, they might have put some storylines to the side, which they now work out. (maybe I'm also wrong, but I think I read that in an interview not long ago). This might be true. They had too much time to think.

If I could decide between what we got with 4.16 or having them like they were in season 2, season 2 would always win. It was more fun to see them as friends. Because they flirted, they had fun, they were cute. And now? Lets think they were together- why didn't we get any scenes like the one Peyton and Mac had in the opera (where they kissed).

And- why did we have to guess: together or not? If they had just clarified this, we wouldn't have to discuss if Danny cheated or not (you already know my opinion, until I get another scene that proves me wrong, I think they were together and he cheated).

I kinda prefer the verbal to the physical. The verbal can be slotted in without causing MAJOR scenes, whilst the physical means the writers have to go out of their way to include it. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see them out on a date when there's no drama around and they're happy, but just as well, I'd prefer them just discussing who's cooking dinner tonight when putting prints through CODIS. :)

Probably. I don't see Lindsay enjoying that kinda thing unless they're at home without any clothes on.[/quote]

Ok....I could settle for that.....just as long as we see Danny's backside......wait already seen that in Billys Big Hollywood Screen Kiss......*Heidi passes out in a pool of drool from remembing that sceen*

A compliment of course  I thought you would like your new name ! In my defense, I mentioned wanting to confirmation that they were in a relationship to which you said that you did not want to see them in bed!!

Good to have you back natty  'good shirt porn' :guffaw:And thanks for the fab pictures from SD.

    [/b]
OT briefly - I've seen the entire series which was pretty good. It was pretty similar to Rome in a way - bit graphic in places.

Part of me wants that because I think Danny needs that kind of kick up the arse at the moment. But i agree that Lindsay should not be rushing to take him back after what has happened. I suppose I am torn between being a realist and wanting my happy ever after :)

I think I feel that way when it comes to seeing scenes that I have imagined and discussed in great detail. And you can be disappointed with the spoilers on occasions - "boo" was a classic. But I can never stay Spoiler Free as I feel as if I am missing out!!! But i only read spoilers in detail for CSI NY so i wait to see what happens on other shows. And Liffy - I remember all the spoiler boxes with your name in the title

Me too Jen! I am totally confused with the whole situation and I cannot wait to see how they deal with Danny and Lindsay for the rest of the season.

And some random musing from watching RND in its entirety - when Danny answers his phone, Lindsay "hi, it's me", which IMO is something that you would say to your partner? What do you guys think? Or am i clutching at straws again

Bella, I must confess I don't mind the name! and I don't know bout you clutching straws. The only thing I can take from that ep is the way he drawls 'Messer' and he bleeding well does drawl. *swoons* Then it's all downhill.... Anyways!

I want a kick up SMM's ass and the glint back in Linds' eyes. Was watching Dancing with the Fishes last night and she was just so awesome in that. From shooting down that moron of a cop to telling the old lady to stop acting it. Go Team Lindsay!

P.s - I'm gonna get mauled for this, and I know it. Physical stuff between them is realistic, I do not mean oh swooning happy ever after but passion getting a grip on them? Yeah, it can happen. As long as Linds says something along the lines of 'It's gonna take more than that, Cowboy' to make it clear there's still work to be done.

And for all you Gutterazzi peeps (erm, of which I guess I am sometimes one....) I didn't say physical was sex. Pushed up for an intense kiss in the locker room? Especially if they are arguing over something

*ducks from flying missiles aimed at Peaches (of the Gutter ;) head)*

All this talk is making me even more anxious for tomorrow night! Peaches, you never cease to amaze me, you are a much braver soul than I ever will be!

I agree with you, peaches about the physical thing, there is a difference between physical and romantic!

    Re: Danny/Lindsay #22: I've fallen in love with you...and I can't let

I tend to say "hi, it's me" to anyone I talk to a lot on the phone so not necessarily a partner. Although the last time I did that to my boyfriend he responded with "who's me?" Slightly concerning, but nevermind.

As for the physical vs the verbal I want both! But not sex (well, not much). I'd actually really like to see a passionate embrace initiated by Danny at some point if they do get it together. We haven't seen that yet and if they ARE back together at some point we really, really need to see Danny being 'into' Lindsay because since she left for Montana she's appeared to initiate all of their intimate, or at least close contact. :)

Me third :D I want answers!! Ok I'm not saying I want TPTB come out and say 'It's Over'...no way but we know to know where our ship is right? And we know that they'll work this out seeing as it is a BUMP...the word has always been BUMP which means it's just a cink in the relationship. It is not a BRICK Wall that you cant get over eg :brickwall: And if it is a damn wall then i'll just have to get my sledge hammer out...well borrow my dad's anyway!!!- I like a good challenge :p

God damn it..i've missed my guttery mind. Where did Gutterville go- We had some good parties in there  Oh and there is a huge difference between physical and romatic and physical romantic!

Amen to that! danny needs to realise what he's done....

And to my SF plan....I might start twitching if im deprived to long!!

EDIT: Woohoo!!! Man U are in the final!! :D All British final...cheers to the red devils!!!

I don't really get it but I can be clueless when it comes to riddles. :)

Just to clarify, I do NOT want to see any sex of any kind this season! Especially any in Danny's apartment. I want to see these two re-establish their relationship before anything else. Let us wrap up their over the top dramatic storyline by the end of the 20th episode!

    Natty
, who are Man U playing in the finals? My one time in England got my all excited for the sport

Meg, they were playing Barcelona. Well done boys.

Natty, no doubt there's gonna be a return to Gutterville sometime soon & I'm glad people seem to get what I meant with realistic physicalness. :D I'm sure I've also got climbing equipment hidden somewhere for brick wall scenarios. Meg, didn't we hire Stewie Griffin & a tank for something? Guess we could use that too....

Linds has a bow & arrow! Can we get that back in action? ;)

Thats exactly how I feel it would be so nice if by ep 20 ot would be all cleared up and we get a hint as to what S5 entails for them.

I just want the episodes now... not fair.

    Re: Danny/Lindsay #22: I've fallen in love with you...and I can't let

There won't be a next time, because there won't be anymore Danny if anything else goes wrong. :scream::evil: *Country Girls*

I don't want things to be all moonlight 'n roses by episode 20 or 21. It would be nice to see them talk about how they see their relationship or look at their mistakes in the relationship, but for the writers to do a complete 180 would really have me questioning why they went down the triangle path in the first place. It would seem pointless.

We aren't for sure that a conversation takes place in episode 18 or not. That could be during the next episode. But the supposed date thing has me concerned. If Danny did confess that he slept with Rikki, what in God's name would possess Lindsay to go out with Danny even if they had just remained friends. I don't exactly see Lindsay warming up to Danny for a while after that. And if Danny only sees Lindsay as a friendly co-worker that he's had some good times with, why would he want to take someone who is in love with him out in public when he knows it could be seen as something more? None of this makes sense. I wonder if we are getting our hopes up that they truly will be on a date or a friend date. For all we know the PTB might end up changing the scene to a guy's night out---Adam, Hawkes, and Danny. Perhaps they had agreed to go out to the basketball game before all this mess and they didn't want to back out of it. *Auda ponders deep thoughts---which is hard for her sometimes*

    Later.
