Alright, y'all, here's the new thread for Danny/Flack! The old thread can be found here: Danny/Flack #6 - Bottom Line: Flack Wants Danny.

So come on in, pull up a chair, grab a bowl of (cop-porn) popcorn and let's get right back to it! We had some great discussion going on at the end of the previous thread, so quote away, my lovelies! :D

Also, in honor of more than 6000 posts about our guys, I think we need some pictures to get this new thread started off on the right foot!

And, of course:

Yeah, Flack likes that, Danno. ;)

Wow I don't think i've ever been one of the first on a new thread...

Aaaw look'at'teh'lil pics... Bless them!

I make it sound cute, when most of the time Don looks like he wants to slam Danny against the nearest flat surface! Which is alot of things and in the words of Dr Callie Torres, mostly, "Dirty and Bad".

As you guys have more or less finished the Season over there (I don't know where we are, I get confused:confused: we've certainly had Rikki stealing the gun) what do you think (or hope) the writers will have lined up in Season 5 regarding our boys?

I know we've had some great moments this Season (4) but I don't know I kind of miss the Necrophila Americana and Rain moments that you get when they work together, or interrogate together.

I don't tend to look at spoilers although not for any other reason that I don't like to get my hopes up.

But that's what I love about them, neither of them have poker faces, neither of them can keep a lid on their emotions, neither of them can not say what they think, but when it comes to each other they just fail miserably at putting their actions into words, I guess it is difficult putting yourself out there in words, once you've SAID it, you can't take it back, but you can misread body launguage or tell yourself you are.

Sometime I feel like this :brickwall: when I watch them.

 They are so frustrating sometimes aren't they? It's true, their faces don't lie, especially Flack's. He is truly smitten with his man.

Look at that face...

Yep, that's exactly what he's thinking in that picture above.

I didn't post nearly as often as I should have done in the last wonderful Danny/Flack thread, I shall try to be a better shipper in this thread!

This is my small gift to the thread:

OMG, that is gorgeous, Elsie! Great job on the animated banner! :) Don'tcha just love Danny's stunned, "Wow, he actually cares for me that much?" face at the end when Flack tells him that he's Danny's friend and that makes it his business? It's like Danny expected Flack to throw up his arms and finally give up on him and walk away.

Oooh no, Messer, Flack won't quit on you that easy!

And now, all of a sudden, I see Danny and Messer in cowboy suits and Flack's saying, "I wish I knew how ta quit you, Messah." And then they go inside their camp and make moutainous cowboy love.

Here are two screencaps from that season three episode where Danny and Flack went all Spiderman and jumpfrog and ... well, see for yourselves. ;)

Hubba-hubba! Flack, just what the heck are you doing to Danny?!

Isn't it sweet when the guys show some PDA? ;)

Yay! New thread!!! :D Seven threads of hot, sexy manlove...life is good.

This is far and away one of my favorite pics of the boys. There's something comfortably territorial about the way Flack casually leans over Danny's shoulder, and there's something so trusting and passive about the way Danny is almost unconsciously leaning towards Flack. Plus, Danny's lips look so full and a little swollen, like a certain detective stole kisses from them moments before. ;)

I make it sound cute, when most of the time Don looks like he wants to slam Danny against the nearest flat surface!

Flack always looks about two seconds away from just taking Danny and having his way with him. We know how much Flack would enjoy doing just that... And probably does. Let's face it, ladies--a man doesn't hang on that long the way Flack does unless he's had a little taste--or maybe a little more than a little taste. ;)

He really is. Flack's eyes say it all, the way they follow Danny around the room, the way they take in Danny's body, the way they undress Danny. Flack is a man who knows what he wants.

It is a wonderful gift! :D I love the way Flack looks at Danny in that scene. His eyes are saying, "Can't you see that I'm in love with you? Don't you know I'd do anything for you?"

Of course Danny did--Danny is Danny and it seems to be taking a while for him to realize the depth of Flack's feelings for him. Flack's in love, period. But I don't know if Danny has ever had anyone love him the way Flack does--selflessly and completely--so of course he's not getting it.

Oooh no, Messer, Flack won't quit on you that easy!

Except Flack would never try to quit Danny. :D

I think Flack's going to Kinkapoodle heaven. ;)

Me either. I shall try. I sort of lost some love with NY (and I don't watch the others) as the crimes weren't very interesting this season, but hopefully they'll sort if out for Season 5!!

True.

Sometimes I look at Flack (I think it's Eddie's look) and I can easily see him as Heathcliff-esque, maybe not the violent temper and but the running around NY yelling for Danny, driven mad by his all consuming love.

I should never have read "Wuthering Heights" as a young girl, it's coloured my view of relationships.

And now, all of a sudden, I see Danny and Messer in cowboy suits and Flack's saying, "I wish I knew how ta quit you, Messah." And then they go inside their camp and make moutainous cowboy love.

This made me laugh even more, as when I entered my office this morning, I walked into a conversation mid-way to hear one of the guys declare "OMG everythin's gone brokeback!"

HA! surprisingly they both blushed.

I just want to say: YAAAAAAAY! NEW THREAD! *joins the fun*
Thank you all for great pictures, it's a very.. I'll just say nice (to be polite :D) way to end a shitty day *stares at the photos*

I haven't been a good shipper either (I was more of a lurker) but now, I will strive to be better :D

My favourite moment of the two is the one in All in the Family. And from all those pictures from above, the one where they are in the lab and Flack is looking over Danny's shoulder is the best one :D

Flack's staring is at a level where no human can ever come to

I can see Flack getting a little consumed by his love for Danny. He sure was intense in "All in the Family," and I think that showed how far he was willing to go for Danny, but also how deeply Danny gets under his skin. Do you guys think Flack is capable of hurting Danny, or being forceful with him?

On a lighter note, I've seen Danny and Flack's names written together around a few places recently like this: Danny Flack. And that just makes me smile, because I think if they ever got married, Flack would so want Danny to take his name. How cute would that be? Don and Danny Flack. Awwww, that just makes me smile. :D :D :D

If Danny was about to do something stupid, yes. In "All in the Family" he got quite forceful with Danny, it was out of love, he gave Danny a choice to do the right thing, otherwise he would have to do something himself.

Flack doesn't suffer fools gladly (although he is a fool for Danny). He tends to "Man Up" when it's needed.

Physically forceful, hmmm... Flack is quite hot-tempered but he relies on his mouth :)drool:) more than his fists (from what I've seen), he'd rather take a perp down a few pegs with a few well timed barbs than beat them up.

As this is the case, I could perhaps see him getting upset or annoyed and lashing out at Danny verbally, I don't think Danny would ever be the cause of it, my feeling is it would be an outside factor (father perhaps) that would push his button and poor Danny would be on the recieving end.

If you are talking about the bedroom though... MWAHAHAHAHA!

Yeah, Flack was definitely forceful with Danny then. Danny's little rebellion brought out the Alpha dog in Flack!

I can really see Flack having a temper, and I think that would scare Danny a bit. For all his passion and fire, Danny will get mad but then it burns out quickly and he just ends up being upset. But Flack? I think once Flack is mad, he's mad, and it's a little scary.

If you are talking about the bedroom though... MWAHAHAHAHA!

Oh, in the bedroom I think Flack is all about showing his saucy, spoiled Kinkapoodle who's boss.   ;)

But Flack? I think once Flack is mad, he's mad, and it's a little scary.

I get intimidated watching him in interrogation scenes, I'd hate to be on the recieving end of that temper.

I actually think Flack is more intimidating than Mac, Mac will lose it but with Flack, I don't know it seems less calculated and slightly more like natural. I think that is far more scary, Flack is so cool and calm on that outside and then "BOOM" his is this hotblooded passionate cop.

HOT!

Pretty sure Danny loves pushing those buttons.

I agree that Flack is more intimidating than Mac--I think he's the scariest of the bunch when he wants to be.

I have no doubt Danny knows just how to get Flack all worked up and really hot and bothered. And then, well, you know Flack doesn't let his Kinkapoodle get away with that, not without taking what he thinks is owed to him. ;)

Flack's sister is in this episode, and at one point Danny questions her as Flack watches from the other room. And after Danny is done, he goes right to Flack, who is of course brooding and pensive, trying to figure out if his sister is involved. Maybe we'll get a moment where Danny is there for/supportive of Flack...finally????

^ OMG!! The drama! (I sounded like Brian from "American Dad" just then)

I hope what you hope Top, that would be wonderful. Danny being there for Flack, supportive and understanding.

Also maybe will learn a little bit more about Don. It will be interesting how they show the relationships. Does everyone know each other? Is Danny the one to do it, because he and Don are close?

As an aside, I hope they show Stella being there for Falck (i'm sure they will) as he is so often there for the rest of the team - like going to Chicago and so on - that it would be nice to see the favour returned. With (ours and) Don's Danny leading the way. Perhaps dealing with the questions for Don, like Flack did in Heroes for him.

Thanks Top, you made my morning!

OMG! That spoiler is awesome! Maybe Danny will finally be a support for Flack - I think it's about time.

What I was wondering is do you think that Flacks protectiveness and genuine love for Danny could cost him his job. We have seen how tough and straight laced Flack is concering dirty cops and his mentor but do you think he would change that for Danny. Say Danny was implicated in something really bad would Flack be just a cop or do you think his feeling would get involved?

Hey, new thread, yeah!!

Have been a bad shipper lately but I since I haven't seen any S4 episodes yet, it's hard to say anything.

Very interesting question MichelleK! Hm, I think Flack would do the right thing. He'd probably try to talk to Danny, try to talk him out of it or talk some sense into him. But in the end I think he'd be a cop about it. The way I see it, he'd report Danny but not to make him look bad/ get fired but to save his butt.

Anyway, since I'm here ... What's this with Rikki? I have the bad feeling that it won't end will for Danny. I think a relationship between them is out of the question, just because it's build on Ruben's (?) death. Both want comfort, but this can't work out.

If D/F are not in a relationship, I think that Flack would say nothing about Rikki. He'd know that Danny needs to deal with his pain/ guilt, and he knows how Danny deals with it. - Do I make any sense here?
