Re: Eric & Calleigh Thread #29: slkdjfhaslsjkdfhksajhkjhsdfomg!!!!!!!1

I just saw the ending again, can I just aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, ok thanks!!

What I loved about the end scene was that he sort turned the tables on her....he made the situation about him and not her and I think that is why she said "ok" to him driving her home. We all know Cal doesn't like to seem vulnerable or hurt so for Eric to be the one to say "he" wasn't ok was fine with her b/c he wasn't pressing about her state of mnd or well being he was talking about him.

Totally agree, and IMO he totally knows this ;)

He knows but at the same time he didn't say it to get her to let him take her home....he genuinley meant it but he knew he had to go there in order for her to let him help her/be there for her. With everyone else if Cal says she is ok, they let it go but Eric doesn't....he pushes just enough, like last night, to get her to open up. She knows he cares deeper than friendship and I am sure she does too....she just doesn't want to admit it, nor does she want to admit she *needs* someone else....eventually, and I think this might the catalyst that gets her to realize she does need someone and that person is Eric.

Re: Eric & Calleigh Thread #29: slkdjfhaslsjkdfhksajhkjhsdfomg!!!!!!!1

I loved that Calleigh was barely done taking the guy down and Eric already had his hands on her. He looked so desperate to touch her. And when she turned to him and the scene cut it looked like he was about to grab her boob.

I also loved that Eric was the focus when they revealed the boys were at the table, and I also loved how anxious he was earlier when Natalia had to tell him to calm down. Adam was great last night. He's grown a lot as an actor and you can tell he's really enjoying this storyline.

I don't think they'll talk about what happened after the episode. I think the next thing will be Eric's brain injury and Calleigh having that piece of paper. She doesn't know about the hallucinations but now she's starting to realize he's still having problems. After everything he's done for her in the last few months it'll be nice to see the tables turn. I wonder if they'll pull a Cristina and have her lie to the higher ups to protect him and his job.

Re: Eric & Calleigh Thread #29: slkdjfhaslsjkdfhksajhkjhsdfomg!!!!!!!1

Oh, he definitely turned the tables on her. But what I really like was that he didn't do it to manipulate her into letting him take her home. He was totally and completely honest with her, and that makes it a hundred times better.

It is really sad that Calleigh can't just let herself be taken care of, but you have to admit, the girl's been taking care of herself and everyone else since she was old enough to walk. It's probably really hard for her to let that go because that is the only security she has.

However, now that Eric has established himself as a constant in her life (emotionally, physically, etc.) maybe she'll slowly learn to let her guard down. She's let herself be vulnerable around Eric before, and she's certain to do it again. More than that, however, she's letting him take care of her. Not in the "I'm a decrepit kidnapping victim and you just saved me so now I'm going to be really clingy and emotionally unbalanced" way.

Anyway, all that said...fic anyone???? I know we have a bunch of itchy fingers, ready to write amazing postep fics! We could all do one :D

I thought the same thing just before the scene cut it looked like he was going to grab her boob!!! Adam and Emily were fantastic last night....you felt Eric's concern and Emily did a great job of portraying what a kidnap victim should do....play along until you can find your opening in order to stay alive.

I wouldn't be surprised if they turned things around now to focus on Eric and his injury....but I did think that the whole piece of paper thing was just thrown in to help facilitate Monday's story. We have had no indication since the hallucinations that something is wrong with Eric....so I kind felt like that was just thrown in for the sake of making the storyline work. If the continue with it, fine but at the time it felt like a plot device.

It will be nice to see the table turn like you said but how much longer are we going to go around in seemingly never ending this circle with these two?

I`m about to watch that rescue scene now, I`m just waiting for my slow computer to open it. I really hope they get those two together as soon as possible. I mean, I like those cute little moments they share, but I think it`s time for the real thing. Then, when the writers get them together, they can as well give them those little moments as a couple.

It doesn't look as good as a still but if you squint...

I'd like it if they shifted the focus to Eric's injury next week. I don't think it's something that gets resolved ever, so to be reminded of it once in a while would be nice, especially if it means Calleigh is there for him.

I don't think Calleigh deals very well with people worrying about her, but I think she can really see that Eric went through hell not knowing where she was or if he'd see her alive again.

I can't believe this storyline is really concretely picking up. They always had nice moments but last night was incomparable.

Re: Eric & Calleigh Thread #29: slkdjfhaslsjkdfhksajhkjhsdfomg!!!!!!!1

It really looks like he is touching her boob:devil::devil::devil: but this new Eric would never do something like that in front of everyone. But our porn minds can dream, right?

Yep, totally true! ;)

And I do hope that the piece of paper does come up again. That's a great EC moment right there, plus it's great that they continue to deal with Eric's injury.

Re: Eric & Calleigh Thread #29: slkdjfhaslsjkdfhksajhkjhsdfomg!!!!!!!1

Oh yeah, that slip of paper is definitely something that needs to be addressed, either in Calleigh taking an even greater interest in Eric at work (which works so well for us!) or by her directly mentioning it to him (which also works! Yay!). I thought about mentioning it in my fic, but there's already way too much going on there, so somebody else needs to write about it. :D Preferably TPTB in an episode, but I would totally love some fic about it too. :D

Totally not relevant to this thread, but in that cap up there, Ryan looks awfully detached. Wonder what that's about? Nah, actually I don't. But I love how Frank's just standing there, looking on, while Eric is basically all over Cal, aw. I still can't get over how perfect of an ending we got last night. *continues squeeing happily* :D

Also, randomness, but what was with all the wild west, cowboy music last night?

Also (again, lol), the way Calleigh covers her face and kind of crumbles right in front of Eric... awww. :( So sad. But so cute at the same time, lol.

Hi i'm a lurker that decided it was time to join. :D

I was on the Eric/Calleigh ship for awhile but didn't think that they would actually go there with them. So this season has def. suprised me and I love it.

And I agree I love how Calleigh played the tough girl and said she was fine and Eric's like well I'm not and I'm tired of pretending that I am. I just love the look on her face when he was telling her that "I don't know what I would've done if I lost you"

They really need to have we've-both-been-through-traumatic-experiences-Sex! I'm glad she went home with him. Finally a move on her part.

Oh I know right?!! It was like showdown at the OK Corral!! I was waiting to see a tumble weed roll on by

Hey I just found my ability to speak again!
And I posted a small picspam of our favorite scene from last night, over at the LJ community. Can I post a link? Yeah, I can: CLICK!

And - I hope nobody mentioned that before - did you all see that little gesture Eric made after Calleigh had opened him the door? He almost jumped from joy!

Anybody written a post-ep yet? *checks ff.net* Nah. Booooo!

I think I almost sort of have one brewing, maybe. I'm trying really hard, I am, but I just can't get it out.

As far as that paper is concerned, I hope they don't just leave that hanging because it is such an important part for Eric. I mean, I like that they tied it to Calleigh's story "it looks like you're trying to remember how to process a crime scene" or whatever Ryan said, but the implications are so much bigger than that, and I think we need to see it.

Re: Eric & Calleigh Thread #29: slkdjfhaslsjkdfhksajhkjhsdfomg!!!!!!!1

The reviews are up for the two episodes at CSI Files and they are really good. I agree with the reviewer about their acting and how much they've grown! I also thought Adam Rodriguez really nailed his performance in the episodes and that you could just feel his worry/anxiety/anger. :)
