Season 15 Spoiler Lab Discussion and Pics

Re: Season 15 Spoiler Lab Pics and Discussion

It would be fitting if there were a lowlife Joe Francis-type character as the victim here. Maybe he has been gunned down by someone who "modeled" for him without her consent to be filmed or photographed.

Re: Season 15 Spoiler Lab Pics and Discussion

It's like watching a dying animal sometimes.
That made me laugh out loud!!

I choose to believe the title is a ‘red herring’ and literally will be about college students ‘going wild’ and have nothing to do with the CSI women getting involved in murder and mayhem during a weekend getaway. I mean, the writers wouldn’t really go there would they?

On a random note, does anyone remember when CSI Vegas used to be the no. 2 ranked CSI office in the land? Granted it was largely due to Grissom’s expertise as an entomologist but I wonder how far down the rankings they have dropped?

Oh goody! (yes, I'm being sarcastic!)

Mega Buzz

Got any new scoop on CSI's new season? — Jessica

As you may have heard, Mark-Paul Gosselaar is playing a serial killer from Russell and Finlay's past. As that story gets stretched out over the length of the season, you can expect to get some flashbacks to Russell and Finlay's days in Seattle. "It dredges up a lot of feelings — about what happened five years ago, where they were in their relationship five years ago," executive producer Don McGill says. "The relationship in the past informs the relationship in the present." Could Finlay's new love interest (Human Target's Mark Valley) have some competition?

That physically hurt to read

"As their story gets stretched out over the season"??!! :cardie:

Not a word in there about anything related to Crime. Or Scenes. Or Investigation. Have they forgotten the title of the show??

This show is a joke now. Look at all of the long term fans who can't stand it anymore.

Re: Season 15 Spoiler Lab Pics and Discussion

Well, if I understand right it, they want put something like in Miami in season 7, with Russians and season 8 with undercover Delko with finale in Time Bomb. But I could understand wrong it :D

Re: Season 15 Spoiler Lab Pics and Discussion

Don't the writers realize that episodes revolving around DB and Finn do not interest the long time CSI viewers?

Re: Season 15 Spoiler Lab Pics and Discussion

Russell, Finn and Morgan have been on three years now and we seem to know more about their pasts than Nick, Greg and Sara combined over the last fifteen years!

Re: Season 15 Spoiler Lab Pics and Discussion

Well I think you have right. Writers should put something like from season 7, but I think it's little obvious that they have a new characters, so they focus on them. I like D.B and Finn, can't stand Morgan, but I think that writers should focus on Nick or Greg - I don't even remember the last episode about Greg, probably 13x04? But well...

I agree about Greg and Nick but no way does that apply to Sara. Her past has been covered in great detail over the years. Plus, I think the current writers have mucked up her character enough over the last year and a half, they should leave well enough alone. I'd hate to think what they'd do to Nick and Greg.

Oh, not a season-long DB & Finlay story... that's even worse than a serial killer with a twin brother and equally bad as Finlay's "new love interest". :shifty:

Seriously, it's not that difficult to come up with something substantial and interesting, why do they make it seem as if it is?

I know the writers claim they don't steal plot lines from the current news (we all know that is bunk, and not Bunk Moreland), so I wonder if they will try and write in a few of the salacious news tidbits coming out of Las Vegas these days.

1. MMA fighter beat up his porn star girlfriend and landed her in the hospital. He is now on the lam (maybe in California). Not a stretch to turn this into a homicide, and a nice chance to ship the kids off to San Diego for an episode.

2. The government denier out in the sticks who was told to disperse by the FBI. Instead, all the militia crazies showed up and pretended they had just started their own country. How about a militia wonk gets killed in a melee, and everything thinks the police did it?

3. Apparently Vegas is trying to land a professional soccer team. Miami fooled around with F1 racing, why can't the LVPD come in when someone related to the whole scheme, which you know involves more bribes than the Salt Lake Olympics, winds up dead in some political payback?

Always fertile ground in the city of Lost wages.

If the writers had any intention of focusing on the originals over the past five years and for the rest of the series, (NOT throwing them a bone once in awhile but actually developing them further, giving them story arcs, delving into their backstories more etc.) I don’t think there would be anything to complain about in the first place. Sure, Nick and Greg were also underused during the Grissom era, especially compared to some other main characters like Sara, but they still had big story lines nonetheless, at least, compared to now, or after season 9 when William Peterson left. Personally, I doubt what Nick, Greg and Sara/GSR fans are asking for is going to happen. I’m sure, these long time characters will have their moments once in awhile (and that’s putting it mildly IMO), but nothing major. But that's just my speculation of what will happen with them.

Not really a fan of "Kitty". And don't really expect to watch "CSI: Cyber". :(

Patricia Arquette returning to 'CSI' before 'CSI: Cyber' kicks off

Patricia Arquette is returning to CSI this fall.

EW has learned exclusively that the actress will reprise her role as Special Agent Avery Ryan in an episode slated for Nov. 2. Ryan is the head of the FBI’s Cyber Crime Division that will be explored on the new spin-off series CSI: Cyber. Arquette previously appeared on CSI in a backdoor pilot episode for Cyber last spring.

CSI: Cyber recently added to its cast, tapping James van der Beek and Peter MacNicol as new series regulars.

CSI returns Sept. 28 at 10 p.m., while CSI: Cyber will air on Sundays at 10 p.m. this spring.
