Good thread title.
I hope Jon's film comes out soon. Not that I think I will have the opportunity to see it, but if it does he will most likely be doing interviews and stuff to promote it, and I dont think I can last all summer without any new Jon/Ryan goodies.
I am glad though that we arent spending this summer speculating on whether or not Ryan is dead or whether he has turned to the dark side.

I'm waiting for Jon's film too,in the theater and on DVD.What we have seen looks so intense,I can hardly wait to see the entire story.

Boy, I am glad of that as well.:)

Did anyone else see that CSI:Miami is on the "likely" to be renewed list? Wonder what would push the show in either direction?

Oh I wish this country supported the opportunity to show the movie. I'm already dying to see it needless to say about the book.
But I doubt I could even start hoping for a DVD. But I will keep hoping for a miracle for the sake of my sanity

I'm very happy that we aren't wondering about Ryan's fate this summer.

I did see that Miami was on the "likely" to be renewed list.We should be finding out some time today which CBS shows have been renewed.

edit: Just read that NY was renewed. No news about Miami yet .

Yay! I'm so happy they're giving CSI: NY another year (even if I don't watch it. I believe every CSI show deserves a year-long sendoff if it is to end. Too much of a fan base to suddenly cancel it.)

However, I'm now biting my nails more than ever for Miami...

If they gave New York another season, I wouldn't worry about Miami. It seems like NY was really close to being cancelled for some reason. Does anyone look at that Ausiello's Renewal Scorecard? LV and Miami have been under "a sure thing" for a long time and NY was under "could go either way" before it got renewed. Strange it was renewed first when everyone was so worried about it. That thing is here. It's actually surprising to see how many shows get cancelled after their first season.

I agree, if NY is renewed I wouldn't worry too much about Miami since it did better than NY. I'm happy to hear NY is renewed, can't wait for official news of Miami being renewed.

I did figure that NY was close, especially once I saw the season finale.
I just thought we would know for certain about Miami by now.ABC and NBC have already started giving info about their fall lineup, and CBS isn't even finished announcing which shows have been renewed yet.

Yes!! I am so glad to hear NY was renewed!!!. I agree; none of the three show should end suddenly!

I wasn't too worried whether or not Miami would be renewed; we would have heard rumblings before this and the ratings, despite being in a rather bad time slot, weren't too shabby. I am more worried about Hawaii 5-0 than Miami to tell you the truth.

Sheesh, I wasn't worried about Miami being renewed until you guys started discussing it. Now I'm feeling nervous, even though the odds of the series being canceled are low....

I dont think there is any need to worry. It is a good sign that NY has been renewed, if any of the csi shows were going, it would have been that one (and I am glad it isnt.) So, I think we will get Ryan for at least one more year!
