What the heck was that promo tonight??? No one's said anything about anyone being injured. Are they playing with the editing of the promos again?

Yeah, I'm sure they're playing around with the editing again. They make it appear as though Brass gets shot (at least it looked that way to me). The looks on Nick's and DB's faces will probably end up being something that the suspects does to himself or a vic they're trying to save or something.

So, thoughts on the new interview?

And why not just go ahead and confirm the stuff about Cath?

In my mind, the grand scheme of Catherine's exit is much larger than just getting a card and moving on. Especially with what's starting in "Zippered," I think there will be roadblocks for Catherine to overcome.

That being said, I'm interviewing Alex Carter today, so hopefully he'll give some interesting insight into her exit. He's in episode eleven which starts shooting today. It'll post next Wednesday. :)

Things are never that simple on CSI. We still need some personal drama that will lead her to make the decision to leave. I am glad to see the sheriff at least offering her a way out via a 'promotion'. I'm liking that more than her running a casino, actually. And, for whatever reason, tptb seem to want characters to move out of town, or die, when they leave CSI.
I hope your interview sheds some light on Cath and Lou; their last scene together told us nothing. But, if the plan is for her to go to DC, I doubt the relationship will be continued; but I hope they at least part on friendly terms, and maybe even leaving the door open a bit.

Vegaslights, your avi kinda creeps me out!

I don't think I'm ready :(

I know what you mean :(:(:(, Catherine is one of the deepest and coolest characters on the show and we've lost enough members of the old team already. Am I the only one who has a feeling this is going to be a dark and intense story arc, if not depressing too :( (ok, maybe only a little dark)? Despite what the spoilers say, I really hope the whole team is in involved in it, especially Nick, Greg and Sara considering that they've known her since the beginning.

There are a lot of guest stars in the episode...I hope they aren't on it more than the regulars so it is a proper goodbye.

"Willows in the Wind"? :D YAY, awesome episode title...
Not to toot my own horn, but for a while I've being saying (I think I've said it on here, if not I have on facebook etc.) that I would love for it to be called "Wind & The Willows'"... I'll take what I can get on that matter :p

I'm sad Catherine's is leaving soon. But I'm happy for Marg. Considering how tptb treated her (well, it's not that bad though I hate that she was bypassed by LF and TD), I can't blame Marg for moving out to do other things. She's a great actress so it will be easy for her. Hope to see her in another TV show. Maybe The Good Wife. I will watch that show if she guest star there.

I think it would be great to see Marg show up onThe Good Wife. I keep saying Grissom should make a cameo on the show as an expert bug witness.

I really like that her final two episodes incorporate 'Willows' in the title.

I too am sad to see Marg leave but after twelve years, I can certainly see why she wants to move on and do other things.
I hope they give her a proper ending and leave the door open for her to make future appearences.
