Flack looked back to Hawkes for a moment, falling back to talk with the former ME for a moment. He kept his ears tuned to hear if they were going to depart here soon.

Horatio frowned a bit. "It's probably best we go now.. Knowing the time we've wasted, they're about ready," he said softly.

Calleigh nodded and sighed. "I love you Horatio." she said before they left. She figured that if she didn't come back, at least he would have that fresh in his mind.

Horatio looked to her for a moment, smiling a bit. It only took them a maximum of ten minutes to get to the compound, concidering the streets were basically deserted. Word had spread fast, but no one outside of San Clemete seemed to know.

Calleigh was scared. She didn't know if she was coming back alive, and it made her sick. She Horatio's hand as they stopped at a red light, and squeazed it hard.

Horatio looked over to her for a moment, squeezing her hand back equally as hard. "Don't worry.. I won't let anything happen to you," he said.

Hawkes sighed and looked at Lindsay and Tony chatting and back at Flack, "What if it is her initials?"

Flack exchanged looks with Hawkes. "If they are.. Do you have an idea of why she was mentioned?"

Cal nodded and took a deep breath. If there was anyone she wanted to do this with more, it was Horatio.

Hawkes looked at him, "Maybe she's a key or something, It mentioned her initials and the key..The cure? But how Lindsay would know anything is beyond me" he shrugged, and watched her laugh at one of Tony's jokes, and smiled and looked back, "I just hope whatever it is, and why, if it does involve her, it doesn't destroy her"

Horatio gently ran his thumb over Calleigh's knuckles for a moment, looking at her before retuning his gaze to the road. He made a silent oath to protect Calleigh at all costs.

Flack looked to Hawkes, his face going white for a moment when he mentioned that there was a possibility that Lindsay might be destroyed. He turned to the ME now. "I made a promise to her.. Telling her that she won't get hurt on my watch.. I plan to keep it with every fibre of my being," Flack said quietly.

Hawkes looked down, and looked back at him sadly, "It could be one that you possibly have to break"

Cal looked back at him, but soon let her gaze return to the empty roads. "I don't like this Horatio, I'm scared." she said in almost a whisper.

Flack soon had a cross look come about him. "I'm not 'bout to do that," he hissed, his New York accent becoming a little thicker.

Horatio looked to her curiously for a moment. "I'd be lying if I didn't say I wasn't comfortable with this.. I understand, but it must be taken care of," he repled.

"Wait until GibHbs and I start butting heads over things" he chuckled. "I know to be careful since he outranks me now, but two Marines, it might not be pretty if we disagree over something."

He turned and watched Flack and Hawkes for a moment, his face turning serious again. He didn't know what they were saying but he hoped they weren't arguing, they needed to be able to work together to get through this. He didn't say anything, just turned back toward the others.
