your top ten pet peeves

I practically have a billion pet peeves, but I'm sure I'm not alone. but what are my top ten? what are yours?

hmm...I'd have to really think about what my top ten pet peeves are *thinks hard* *pops a blood vessel* okay. got it.

1. improper grammar/spelling- my friends have the worst grammar in the world, plus I'm in Newfoundland. OY VEY.
2. stereotypes- don't even need to go there
3. repetitive noises- it just drives me up the wall to no end
4. soy food- fakest stuff in the world. why have soy when you can have the actual thing? (not including people with allergies)
5. people with annoying voices- high pitched, mostly.
6. people that don't understand something even if you explain it a zillion times- I either stop trying to explain it, or get really mad/attack them (but only in severe cases)
7. hypocrytes- depends on the subject, but for the majority of times, I hate them
8. people that don't listen- when you tell someone not to do something but they keep on doing it
9. SKANKS AND WIGGERS :mad:- except for a handful of people (my friends and I included), my whole school is composed of skanks and wiggers. and they think they have power over everyone and that they're so cool. fags.
10. posers- people who are like 'I like this band' (PANIC! at the disco, for example) but they're only saying that because everyone else does. I liked panic! before, but now everyone likes them just to be cool, so I don't anymore

anywhoo, those are my top ten pet peeves (they're in no specific order) so, post yours here :)
 
Interesting thread, mine:
1) slang, and people who find it "cool" to use slang
2) people who mock vegetarians
3) "Gangsters" if you would be a ganster, put on a decent suit, put on a hat and start speaking with an Italian accent....
4) People who don't like things anymore because other people,"uncool" people, do like them
5) People who talk way too much
6) Stupid, way too easy, tv games presented by people who can't even solve the puzzle themselves
7) Untidy rooms, I'm an obsessive cleaner
8.) People with who aren't your friends walking up to you and just start talking, forcing you to lisen to their boring lives
9) People who don't meet deadlines
10) Guys that friendly push people around or hit them on the shoulders. Hitting and pusing is not a nice thing to do, in any situation, keep your hands at home

2: spelling and grammar
3: Big Brother
4: newspapers who have editors that must sleep on the job, which have mistakes such as "Holy Wells" (even worse considering it was such a sensetive case - bastards)
5: People who annoy you in class to get you in trouble :mad:
6: People who lie about what you did during lunch to get you in trouble with your form tutor when you were actually trying to help
7: Hypocrites and people who really grate on your nerves who act like they're your friends.
8: People(ie my sister)who repeatedly lie and don't confess to it.
9: Being woken up at a stupid hour, just when you finally managed to get to sleep, by your parents.
10: Hot, humid weather!

bahaha. see? now that would be awesome. it would make my whole school a teenage mafia *thumbs up* just as long as you don't piss them off :)

No particular order:
-chewing with mouth open/pulling gum out of mouth and putting it back in..gross
-double negatives
-when people are way too cocky
-grey's anatomy
-when someone worse than you at a sport tells you how to get better
-when air conditioners break (allllways happens to me)
-when people say "pitcher" instead of "picture, and "foe-ward" instead of "forward"
-when people make fun of me cause i watch so much csi
-when no one every understands what you are trying to tell them, no matter how many different ways you say it
-The New Dresscode. I hate it. I liked uniforms sooo much better.
 
I'm adding one more to my list:
-Uptalking. I can't stand it. When someone asks you a question you answer in a definitive tone. Not with another quesiton. If you aren't sure of the answer...say "I'm not sure"..don't have your answer be a question..

~People who eat loudly.
~Hypocrits
~When computers are extremely slow for no reason.
~When i say whats up and then other person says the sky.
~When girls wear sooo much makeup their skin is orange.
~When people try and find things that rhyme with orange... when will these people learn...there is nothing!
~When people yell when you are right beside them.
~Knock knock jokes...ewe.
~When i'm sewing and i stab myslef with the needle, ouch :(
~Onions.
 
1. When people hack spit into there throat. the noise makes me sick to my stomach.

2. Girls who don't want to eat in front of there boyfriend because they will look fat.

3. Fake Tans, Go Out in the sun and dont pay to get orange.

4. People who believe herbal tea truely does cleanse your entire body and even clears up smoker's lungs.

5. When Power goes out, it happens so much at my house, it sucks.

6. People who will only shop at abercrombie, holister, and american eagle.

7. Spoiled people, who don't think they're spoiled and are ungrateful.

8. People who are trying out for my badmitton team, and didn't attend a single offseason workout.

9. Things you learn in algebra, trig, geometry, and calculus[sp?]. you will most likely not need these.

10. When you have to repeat a joke 6x. by the 2nd time it's not funny anymore.
 
1. When people complain about something, that they have never done or seen before! Agh that drives me crazy
2. People who are all like "Don't be homophobic" and then act homophobic!
3. Random missonaries that come to my door telling me they can "heal me" well gee, I'm not hurt, so why would I need to be healed?
4. People who glare at you for no reason.
5. People who say they are something like fat or ugly just so people are like "awe, no your not"
6. People who pretend that they do drugs but they actually don't.
7. When people chew with there mouths open and spit food all over you. Oh ew
8. When you go to buy something, and the sales person totally ignores you becasue there on the phone or talking to there friend.
9. When you're really nervous, and you go to say something, then it comes out in gibberish
10. When you start laughing over an inside joke, and then someones like "tell me it" well if it's an inside joke, they obviously wouldn't get it!

OMG yeah. I hate that.

- People who're nice to you when they want a favor and drop you when they don't need you anymore.
- People who bully other people only to impress their friends.
- Dubbing movies or TV shows.
- Specific teachers at my school.
- Extreme make-over shows.
- Waking up early.
- Commercial breaks during my favorite TV shows.
- People who try hard to be someone they're not, just because everyone else is that way and it's 'cool'.
- Cycling to school in the rain.
- Songs I hate that are stuck in my head.
 
- People who spell 'a lot' as one word
- People who tell a really long story that has no point to it
- People who say they're your friend then turn around and make fun of you with other friends
- People who talk with food in their mouths
- Grammer mistakes on finished copies
- SOngs that get stuck in your head during tests
- silence when you're supposed to concentrate
- getting in trouble when the other person started it
- people who say 'you're the older one, you're supposed to be more mature'
- people who want to be something

1. Posers. I agree with you GunsNRoses259.
2. When people are like omg i bleed black.
3. When people are like im going punk or im going emo, if you are gonna do it, just do it! i really dont care!
4. When people tease animals.
5. Violence, there are better solutions.
6. People who think drugs are cool.
7. Kids who drink underaged just to be cool.
8. When my brother is smoking and he blows smoke in my face.
9. When people spit, all the time, in random places.
10. The people who beat up people for fun, like the people in fanny smackin!!
 
1. When people don't act their age.
2. When people rule out 'categories' of people by saying they dislike an entire label (goth, emo, poser, wigger, prep, etc)
3. When people don't care about humanitarian problems
4. When people complain about politics but don't know anything about them
5. When people base their political stance on Greenday/their favourite bands' political beliefs
6. Elitists. If anyone needs me to explain why this doesn't go against my #2, ask.
 
ok heres my first 5 i cant think just now so i will post my next 5 later
1 Ned- not all neds but the ones who think they are so cool because they drink and smoke and do this and do that

2 people who just judge you on your apperence and assum things about you because of the way you look- this is why i prefer talking on line because you always feel that in life
you are being judged on the way you look

3 Racism- i cannot stand racism it makes me so angry

4 people who make fun of disabled people- my little brother is disabled and i get so angry when i hear people making fun of disabled people. i HATE the word mongo

5 people who judge other people on there sexuality- this just really annoys me
