Prime Suspect
*cut to buildings of Miami, cut to casino bathroom, cut to someone slamming the vic's head into the mirror. cut to Horatio and Tripp standing over body*
Horatio: What do we have, Frank?
Tripp: Lukas Kaleb, age 25, died from a headwound it looks like.
Horatio: This is a casino, right?
Tripp: Yep
Horatio: Maybe (dramatic pause)he bet his life.

*shows theme song*
*cuts to alexx in lab doing autopsy*
Alexx(talking to dead body): Well whoever did this to you must really not like you.
(Ryan walks in)
Ryan: So what have you found?
Alexx: Baby boy died from sharp force trauma , got his head slammed into the mirror.
Ryan: Did you get the glass out of the wound, Alexx?
Alexx: Yes, right here.
(Ryan squints to see the glass.)
Alexx: Ryan, your eye giving you trouble again?
Ryan: No.
Alexx: Then why are you squinting?
Ryan: I'm not.
Alexx: Go see if you can find some prints at the scene I'll get Horatio to check out the glass.
*cut to Delko, Tripp, and Calleigh all looking at an extremely battered bady*
Calleigh: Hit and run, I assume.
Tripp: Yup, Eric Phillips, age 21, lives right over there.
Delko: Who'd he live with?
Tripp: Umm..girlfriend, Jennifer Cooper.
Delko: Okay, I'll go talk to her.
Tripp: That'll be kind of hard seeing as though she has seemingly disappeared.
Calleigh: Maybe shes hiding behind a guilty conscious.
Delko: Could be.
 
(Alexx walks up.)
Alexx: That's a lot of blood for an automobile accident. Help me turn him over,
Eric. And thats a stab wound.
Delko: Maybe he was dead before he was hit.
Alexx: Maybe.
Alexx: I'll know more after my post.
Delko: Thanks, Alexx.
Alexx: Sure.
Calleigh: Lets's start here and then move on to the girlfriend's apartment.
*cuts to ryan in a doctor's office*
Dr.Fitsapoloosy: Are you having trouble seeing with your eye?
Ryan: Yeah and I dont want that to interfere with my job.
Dr.Fitsapoloosy: I see, take these pills twice a day everyday and your sight should get better (hands Ryan the pills)
Ryan (mumbling to himself): I hope so.

Eric: See these tire marks? They stopped and then took off
after hitting him. No guilt there.
Calleight: How does smeone kill a guy and drive off?
Eric: I dont know. Theres a footprint in the dirt over there. Maybe someone checked on him.
Calleigh: I think were done here. Lets go pay that house a visit.
 
*Cuts to inside house*
Calliegh: Eric! We got some prints and some blood stains!
(Eric walks in)
Eric: Well whoever did this didn't think we'd look here.
Calliegh: Whoever did this just made our job easier.
Eric: Calleigh, look. She has a whole silverware set. Minus an
ice pick. I'm calling Alexx to see if that could be our murder weapon.
Calleigh: Okay I'll bag and tag.
(Autopsy.)
Alexx: Yep, ice pick is our murder weapon.
Calleigh: And girlfriend is Suspect #1.
Eric: Now just to find out where she lives.




*cuts to Horatio and Ryan going to Lukas Kaleb's girlfriend's house*
Ryan: H, she's not here.
Horatio: I see that, Mr.Wolfe.
(Ryan sees an ID with the name Jennifer Cooper.)
Ryan: H, isn't this Eric and Calleigh's vic's girlfriend's name?
Horatio: We've got a cheating girlfriend.

Ryan: I'll find something with her DNA on it in case we need a
comparison.
(back at the lab.)
Eric: No hits on the print.
(Ryan walks in.)
Ryan: I might.
Eric: What do you got, Wolfe?
Ryan: Horatio and I's vic's girlfriend had an ID with your girlfriends's name on it. And I got some of her hair from her bathroom.
Eric: Good job, Wolfe. I'll run it. And.. we've got a match.
Ryan: So we know that this girl has two dead boyfriends with a
print at one scene and her epitheals under my vic's fingernails.
Eric: Would'nt want a girlfriend like that.
Ryan: Well right now she is a prime suspect for both deaths
Eric: Kill one boyfriend why not kill the other?
Ryan: Exactly. We need to find out where she is.
Eric: Doesn't your vic have a wife?
Ryan: Yeah, why?
Eric: Maybe the wife killed the husband when she found out he was cheating.
Ryan: Yeah but how does that put the other woman in?
Eric: She could have killed her new boyfriend for the same reason. And the wife could have killed the girl too.
Ryan: Maybe, if thats the case we need to find their wives.
Eric: I'll go search for some background information so I can find thier names.
Ryan: I'll go tell Horatio.




oh btw i dont know if there are actually pills to help someones sight. i guess they could help an infection though.
 
true, that's right. I'm always looking at sight research for my fic but it's something different. Anyway, more soon!
 
(Horatio's office.)
Ryan: H, we found a connection between the two cases.
Horatio: The girlfriend?
Ryan: Yeah, how'd you know?
Horatio: The wife is downstairs.
Horatio: Mr.Wolfe take Eric and go have a chat with the
grieving widow.
Ryan: Sure, H.

(Interrogation Room.)
Ryan: When did you find out that your husband had a girlfriend?
Peri: 3 days ago.
Delko: And how did that make you feel?
Peri: It made me feel sad. I mean how would you feel if someone was
cheating on you after 2 years of marriage.
Ryan: How did you get rid of that sadness because you seem rather happy today?
Peri: I went to a spa, I didn't kill my husband.
Ryan: Did you know his mistress's name?
Peri: No.
Ryan: Did you know that Jennifer was murdered?
Peri: I didn't kill her.
Ryan: The correct answer was "who's Jennifer"?
Peri: Fine, I admit to stabbing Lukas but that's all. I even
admit to taking the ice pick from his girlfriend's house. But I didn't kill the girlfriend.
Delko: So the blood in her apartment was Lukas's?
Peri: No, I stabbed him at our house. I guess when he was hit he was walking to the hospital.
Ryan: Interesting. Delko, I need to talk to you outside.
(outside.)
Delko: What's up?
Ryan: The blood in the house belongs to the other guy. Did DNA get our results?
Delko: Let's go see.
 
*Cuts to in the lab*
Eric: Apparently Peri was telling the truth.The question is who's blood is it?
Ryan: Well I better go get Calleigh to book her.
Delko:Wait, Wolfe, I understand why the wife killed the
husband, but why would the girlfriend kill her other boyfrind? Maybe he knew about Lukas.
(Calleigh walks in.)
Calleigh: We located Jennifer Cooper. She was trying to leave the state.
Delko: Figures.
Ryan: Let's go talk to her.
*in the interrogation room*
Ryan: When your boyfriend found out that you were dating someone else how did
he re-act?
Jennifer: What do you think? He did what everyone else would do he got mad
Ryan: Mad enough that you would kill him

Jennifer: No mad enough to try to kill me, i just went to the
casino with my friends. He followed me, and then he tried to kill me in the bathroom. So I killed him in self-defense.
Calleigh: Do you know a Peri Kaleb?
Jennifer: No I've never heard of her.
Calleigh:You dated your other boyfriend for how long.
Jennifer: 2 years this Wednesday.
Calleigh: Then he must have mentioned something about his wife in those 2 years.
Jennifer: Oh, that Peri.
Ryan: So you admit to knowing her?
Jennifer: Yeah.
Delko: And you both admit to killing each a different man? I think you two planned this.
Jennifer: So what if we did?
Ryan: Then both of you are murderers and accomplices. And
that means more jail time.
Delko: I just checked up on both of your backgrounds. You both don't live here. You live in The Keys and you two are neighbors. Did you tell your boyfriends that you had to leave on business every now and then? I also found out both the men were rich.
Ryan: You two thought that you could get away with it. Then the money
from there life insurance plus the money they left in there will would go to you guys.
Jennifer: Maybe.Not like I'll tell you or anything.
Ryan: Officer, book her and her friend over there.
Officer: You got it.

*cut to Ryan at doctor's office again*
Dr. Fitsapoolooso: So, Mr.Wolfe, how's the eye?
Ryan: It's fine.
Dr. Fitsapoolooso: You're lying to me, Mr.Wolfe.
Ryan: No I am not
Dr. Fitsapoolooso: Well if it is feeling good then we just need to do a mandatory eye exam.
Ryan: Go ahead, Doctor.
Dr. Fitsapoolooso: Mr. Wolfe, your eye has gotten worse. This may require surgery.
Ryan: What!
