You Know You Watch Too Much CSI: NY When... [#2]

When all this talk about the storm hitting New York makes you wonder how the CSI NY characters would get through. IDK if any of it will make an episode of the show, but we might get some good fics out of it.

When you start to imagine a murder case that happens during storm "Sandy"
And when you have to smile when you see an NYPD cop on the TV footage.

There was also a new segment amongst the Sandy news about the re-opening of the Statue of Liberty. I thought right away of the season 3 opener...at least I think it was s3. Maybe it was s4, the one with blood on the statue after Mac went to London.

This happened to me earlier today when I went to Florence. The last 3 numbers of the license plate in this post will be X'd out for privacy purposes.

You get behind a car with an Illnois license plate on it and the number on the plate is: 333 0XXX. You can't help but smile at the 333 cause it reminds you of CSI: NY and Mac Taylor.

You know you watch too much csi ny when you have dreams about future plot lines.

To keep spoiler info out that is all I will say in this thread.

you get SUPER excited to find other fans of the show.

You plan on owning every season on DVD and have nearly accomplished it.

You will find a way to make it to NYC while the show's filming there.

You've written numerous fan fictions and all of them star Mac Taylor, Stella Bonasera, and Danny Messer.

Sorry if I've stated ones other people have posted. I didn't mean to steal anyone's idea; these are simply one's I personally have either done, or plan to do. :)

When a Today show segment says Mac and Stella have some baby name popularity this year and you get happy. Mac is tech related lol. Stella is part of a sky trend.

I would like to thank NCIS season 7 episode Power Down, CSI season 12 episode CSI: Unplugged and last but not least my fear of the dark for giving me the ideal which inspired this post.

You come up with an episode ideal that is based on episodes of 2 other shows you like.

I even have an ideal for the episode title. Remember how the episode with no words the first 30 minutes was called Unspoken? Well, since this episode I have the ideal for would take place in a blackout, it would be called...(dramatic pause)....BLACKOUT. They'd have to do like a line from that season 12 episode of CSI: "Why go old school when you can go ancient?"

You watch too much CSI: NY when...

You watched last night's episode and see there is a photo with Christine's restaurant name and liquor license and you take a picture of it. Yes, I'm serious, I did.
