Hope a thread like this doesn't already exist! Anyway, saw the equivalent on the NY board and thought why not start one here too.

Last week I went to watch The Dark Knight. The first commercial (as always) was for Marlboro and boy, what was I thinking? Wow, cowboys, horses ... Nicky.
So, yeah, you know you watch too much CSI when you start thinking about characters while watching advertisements for certain cigarette brands.

So what about you? What tells you that you may be watching too much CSI?

It did exist but I believe it was closed down due to lack of posting after awhile, it can be retried again. ;)

Gosh, there's so many that at the time I think, God I know I watch too much CSI. But now they've gone!
    Except for a few:

Whenever anyone mentions anyone with the name of: Nick Cath Sara or Greg (most common) you turn your head automatically, just in case they're talking about CSI.

You're at work, and a piece of work mentions something CSI related (but not) and you smile to yourself (a piece of work the other day said : Goodbye and Good Luck)

Cowboy hats and country music automatically remind you of Nick.

When somebody writes a word beginning with "Sm" and all you can think about is how it's spelled incorrectly and should have a "z" in between :D (yes, I'm Eric obsessed).

When you see correspondence from the insurance company CIS and automatically mix up the letters.

When every song you hear you try to relate it to a character or a situation in CSI, or you even change the lyrics to the song to reflect your love for the show or actor/character (I do this all the time).

When liquid latex suddenly seems appealing :p

When you have the urge to move to Las Vegas, despite the fact that a) judging by the show, you're extremely likely to get killed and b) the characters don't actually exist and you can't chat them up in a bar ;)

When you keep thinking to yourself "I really must check on Amazon to see if they've got Greg's book listed yet", only to mentally kick yourself when you remember that - funnily enough - the book does not even exist (yes, I've done this too!)

I got another one! When I watch shows or films with crimes in it I automatically expect them to be as careful with the evidence as our CSIs. I hate it when they don't wear gloves or don't follow procedure!

Yes, songs I've heard in fanvideos or on the soundtrack automatically remind me of CSI.

I desperately want to go to Vegas, too.

Lately I saw trucks with the letters BTK on them and all I could think about was I have to watch Built to Kill again!!

When you smile at work everytime you log onto your computer and open a certain computer system and it says it is a CSI solution. (Honestly it says that but it has nothing to do with the show.)

Haha. I do this too. I actually say outloud (even if I'm alone), "Why aren't you wearing gloves while handling the evidence?" It drives me nuts!

For me, its in everything thats not connected to CSI. When a crime is committed I think, yes thats how you do it but in CSI they dont do it right.

Or I randomly think when I watch the show, yes butttt if you dont wear a full body protection you will contaminate the scene tut!

Then I think, hm, would "this certain couple" like this or that lol.

OR when I watch a similar forensic show or indeed Miami or NY I think... Nope Grissom may have flaws but he dont speak in monogloue!

Or the lab assistant in NCSI I think- hahahahah female Greg!

When you ask for the day of the Season premiere and the day after off from work, because you know you're going to be talking to fellow board members until the wee hours of the morning.

I know i watch too much CSI when...
I turn on the news and all they report are crimes and then they show a footage of how the investigators collect evidence then i'd scream 'hey they're not supposed to touch anything without gloves on!' hehe..

when i get excited when jeepney drivers here in our town yell "CSI,CSI"---- we have a mall here named CSI...hehe

... when listening to Elvis Presley's Viva Las Vegas reminds you of it.

... when you compare other shows/characters with CSI.

...when you are watching a show where there is a dead body at the Montecito Hotel & Casino, and you would hope that Ed Deline would call Grissom.

...when you are watching one of those poker shows on GSN or Bravo and it reminds you of "Revenge is Best Served Cold," where the famous poker champ died.

 Glad I am not the only one who watched that show and always hoped they would call CSI.

...when you constantly think of new ideas for CSI fanfic.

I know I watch too much CSI when I joke about "so and so's gonna kill me for forgeting to do something," and my friends says don't worry, he'll make sure Grissom investigates.

I also know I watch too much CSI when I plan my Sunday afternoons around what episodes they're showing on Spike even though I've seen them all hundreds of times.
