writers strike

I have been reading alot about a writers strike for CSI does this mean they may not show all of season 8 or does it mean the script will not be as good i am just wondering how it will effect the future of csi any answers wud b gr8

You can go there and read up and comment about it. I know from personal experience that this thread will be locked.
There will be 6 more episodes. So that should make 17 episodes for Season 8, unlike the normal 24, which I think they were only going to have 22 episodes this season though.
