Thanks Des for your understanding too. I don't think anyone but a die hard Billy fan could understand the impact of not seeing Grissom in CSI anymore. I am struggling with watching the new CSI. I'm trying to keep an open mind, I really am...but....

Now on to some much better news... I got tickets to see Blackbird on Aug 1. We're Front left Row C- seats 1-6. We take up a whole row!!!

My girlfriend and I are the only ones really Billy crazy of the 6 of us going, but that's OK.... we're going to have blast anyway!!

I JUST booked Ash's & my hotel room on Sunday...we're about 4 miles from the theatre and now that most of the logistics are worked out, I'm getting VERY excited to see him!!

I am soooo excited Crim....My girlfriend came over today because I was helping her with her taxes and I got the tickets just as she walked in the door. When I told her where we were sitting, we both were doing a happy dance around the room. :luvlove: My husband thinks I've lost it...lol.

So are you staying at the Belden Stratford Hotel? That's where we're going to reserve rooms as it's so close. I've been researching restaurants etc in the area too, so that we know what is around us and what the reviews say of the places.

I knew you'd understand how I feel about no Billy and watching CSI Crim. Before our thread for mourning Billy's loss was taken over, I remember that we both had said very similar things. Thanks for your support. Maybe we should just PM each other about it. That way we can say what we want without having our feelings trampled. :(

Anyway, I should post some more pics, before I get in trouble again...lol ;)

It is hard to see CSI and not him:(, did you all read that Laurence Fishburne said Billy's been 'hanging around" the set but he wouldn't divluge any details and stated he's been "sworn to secrecy". So why is he still 'hanging around"? HMMM, he just doesn't seem to be able to let go:confused:maybe he'll be in an upcoming episode. Make sure you both take cameras and a notebook pad, just in case. and to see Chicago, a fabulous city:cool:

I am sooo excited right now DES, my kids and husband think I've gone off the deep end...;) I'm hoping that either CRIM86 or myself will be lucky and actually be able to get a pic with Billy after the performance. I wish you could come too DES...I don't think Chicago would be able to handle you me and CRIM86 all at once...lol!!!:p

My guess is that Billy is hanging around the set because he's bored. He's spent the last 8 1/2 years working constantly, and now he has time on his hands in between his plays. Plus, isn't Billy Friedkin supposed to be directing CSI's 200 episode? Maybe he's hanging around to watch Friedkin work...
