I thought I'd see which premiere everyone thought was best. I personally liked "For Warrick" and "Resurrection". :)

CSI hands down, for Warrick was the best!

CSI: NY was ok

I don't waste time with CSI:Miami

For Warrick was definately the best. I only watched Vegas and NY. Never seem to last past the theme in Miami. :p

Las Vegas is the best show ever and For Warrick is great episode. I watch Miami, I don't like it, it was depress show I ever watch. NY is okay.

Okay, I am going to have to go with Miami, because it's my favorite. I mean, even with all the spoilers for Ressurection I just couldn't figure out exactly what was going to happen and how Ryan was involved, what E and C were going to do, and how exactly Horatio was going to fake his death. It was pretty much the best episode I'd ever watched. Very intense from start to finish. Monday the 22nd I was so excited I couldn't think about anything else.

2nd would have to be LV. I dreaded watching it because I knew how sad it was going to be. It was well-written and very sad. Thankfully I only teared up, not a full out boo-hoo like I thought I was going to do.
When I watched the part I missed because CBS had some issues, I did cry though.

The Vegas season premiere was AMAZING. Very sad, but good. I think the whole cast shined in some way, and they did a great job with Warrick's case. I loved the emotion for all of them, especially Grissom.

I'd have to say Vegas had the best premiere. It's not my favorite show, but all else being equal, it definitely had the best premiere. It had a real emotional cliffhanger last season that made me want to tune in and find out what happened. There was action and character moments, and they gave a beloved character a fitting farewell.

New York's premiere was good, but it wasn't spectacular. The cliffhanger wasn't exactly thrilling - since we didn't think Mac was going to die, they counted on us wondering 'where' Mac was and 'what' would happen. But really, I think most of us knew that Mac was going to show up quickly, be just fine and even be the major one responsible for solving the case. The episode was good, but nowhere near the same level as the Vegas premiere in terms of wondering what was going to happen and whether they'd get the bad guy, not to mention the emotional connection to the case. (Of course, NY wasn't killing off a character, so in that respect, it had no chance of really competing with Vegas.)

Most of the time, I find Miami pretty ridiculous. Entertaining, generally, but mostly ridiculous. I thought the whole Horatio-faking-his-death and then standing around in plain view thing was laughable, as was him popping out of nowhere behind Eric's Hummer and lurking just out of sight (probably still in plain view) while Yelina talked to Ron Saris (and don't even get me started on blowing up the boat). The elaborate conspiracy was unsatisfying for me as a viewer - I would have been happier if Horatio had been shot but not seriously injured.

I usually find NY to be the most exciting of the three shows, so I expected that to have the best premiere. It really didn't though. Now, I loved the episode. I thought it was great and meeting Samantha Flack was pretty awesome too, but it just wasn't the best of the three.

For Warrick was an incredible episode.

Did anyone notice George Eads' acting in this one? Forget Billy, Marg, Jorja, or anyone else. GE really does shine when he's given the chance and he sure did in this one. Billy may have stolen the episode but George took every last ounce of script he was given and turned it into truly great drama. I was blown away by his performance.

Miami was... well it was okay. I really detested how upset Eric got about H choosing Ryan to help him over himself. Honestly if I was H I would have put my fate in Calleigh's hands I think she's the most clear headed and capable of the bunch. Not that I wouldn't also trust Eric or Ryan with my life without giving it a second thought.

Samantha Flack is a very interesting character. I think that her and Don's scenes were probably the best of the premiere. "What were you thinking?" That was just great.'

I thought everyone on Vegas did a superb job. But, the scene with Nicky holding McSlimeball at gunpoint was just awesome. When his hand started shaking, fighting the temptation to avenge his best friend's death to the fullest... man that was some powerful stuff. You could see pretty much every emotion on his face. Not a lot of actors can do that.

Eric's jealousy over Ryan was kind of silly and pointless IMO. I don't know why the writers put that there. They wrote it to where he sounded like a little kid asking his father why he always took his brother's side over his. I sometimes feel like that Miami writers are trying to systematically ruin every character one by one. I mean seriously, they made Eric sound whiny. It's like maybe the writers had just watched how whiny teen/adult Anakin Skywalker was and decided, "ooh, let's have Eric be that way". It was just annoying. Eric is not a whiny person by nature, so why did the writers go there? Grrr. Is it to set Eric up for a possible breakdown in the future? Only time will tell, I guess. :)

Exactly.

Then again, I've kinda thought for a while now that CSI Miami has been slowly losing every bit of respectiblity it has about it. But, that's okay. I'm a bigger fan of NY and LV anyway.

If you had to pick a favoirte scene from each episode which would you choose?

NY premiere- fave scene- Probably Don/Samantha scene. I don't know why, I just liked Don being all big brotherly.

Miami- Probably the beginning when Ryan yells "So I released the body!" The emotion on his face and in his voice... I just liked it. They never let us really see Ryan emotional except in "Nailed". Second fave scene had to be the scenes with Calleigh and Jake. I liked how they protrayed him as risking everything (his life included) and doing it all for Calleigh. But, I also really liked the Yelina/Ron scenes. I just loved how she was so tough and held her own when he put the gun on her. She didn't even flinch.

For Warrick - I really liked when Nick was pointing the gun at McKeen. That whole scene was just great. Loved his "I missed" line. But, the funeral scene was nice too except for the fact that they didn't use a wide enough camera lens and ended up cutting poor Greg off the picture a couple of times. And that fact that I think Greg should have been sitting in between Nick and Sara cause he is the closest to them. But, I did like Cath grabbing Nicky's hand. I also liked the scene when Catherine first arrived and saw Warrick and broke down. It was really heartbreaking. I really wish someone had gone over and hugged the poor woman.

Vegas by a long shot.

Miami was okay but I have lost my interesting in that show a lot.

Do not watch NY so I cannot judge.

Absolutely. Those two were my favorites I think.

From NY I think it was at the end when all the cops were there at the train station. It was really very cool. Something we've never seen before on CSI and totally neato.

Miami: Well, that's easy. Even though I knew that it wasn't true. I think it was probably when they first told Eric and Calleigh that H was dead. I mean, a. Emily did a great job. b. H was dead for a few seconds.

I think Miami had the best premiere followed by LV then NY. NY is my favorite show but not a good first episode. The second one was really good but the first one was kind of a letdown. LV was good and emotional but Miami just was more exciting and fun.
