I chose both because I just love Greg no matter what. I think his humor ind craziness in the lab was great but everyone has to grow up and transition. I think his transition into the field was realistic and it showed that a great labrat can be a great field mouse as well. I don't think Greg has lost his humor, we just see less of it. I like the mature sexy CSI Greg. As I said I just love Greg.

I really resent that TPTB has given the humor to Hodges (who I do not like) , but Greg was someone we laughed with and Hodges we laugh at.

I chose both too because I love Greg period! I actually prefer the CSI Greg because it shows how much he's matured. He has learned to use his lab experience out in the field and brings his own ideas into an investigation. It's wonderful to see how he has learned to curb his silly side when a more serious approach is warranted. I love that he's matured into a great CSI, but hasn't forgotten his funny side either.

If I had to guess I think that the younger fans prefer Greg the lab tech. He was into goofy hair and clothes just like younger kids like to experiment with.

I can't really choose. Labrat Greg was more quirky and funny, but he was very limited in his scenes, as they were mainly in the DNA lab or the hallway.

CSI Greg isn't as fun (actually, he's quite dull), but they're able to get him into more of a variety of situations, which is great! They just need to bring back the pre-emasculated Greg's personality

I chose Labrat Greg cos he was so funny!!!!
Now that he is a CSI he has lost all his sense of humor!! I miss the old greg

Bull! Greg hasn't lost his sense of humor. He is mature enough now to know when to use it and when not to. His job as a CSI tech is dramatically different than comparing DNA in a lab. As a CSI now, he has to go to the scene of horrific crimes. Nothing funny in that. If he were to make crude jokes at the scene of a crime like he joked in the lab, people would call him an insensitive clod. I'd even call him an insensitive jerk and I love the guy.

Clowns stay the same and never grow. Thank God Greg has outgrown the goofiness.

Greg did lose his sense of humor, but not all of it. Greg is boring now and dull. He hasn't much of part and why the writers' gave Hodges or Nick a sense of humor. I like Greg in the lab where he is belong and he will get more part if he stay in the lab. Wendy might get more part then Greg.

Toots- Everybody got their own opinion if Greg have sense of humor or not.

I don't think Greg's lost all of his sense of humor. Like others have said, he knows when to make a funny comment and when not to. To me he's still an interesting character, but like I said before, I miss the older seasons of labrat!Greg. It'd be kind of strange if TPTB brought back all of his wackiness now, since we've seen him grow up and evolve so much. A few more entertaining comments might be nice, though.

Lab Rat Greg was funny, young, goofy. CSI Greg has matured and I personally miss the humor, the writers have made Greg a too serious CSI. Bring back the humor and give Eric more screentime because it seems he's getting less and less screentime.

I think Greg still has some of his humor. It's not as strong as it used to be- but then again, he's not as naive as he used to be. While Greg has (undoubtedly) seen a lot before his job in the field, he hadn't seen as much of the outside part. When he wasn't seeing it all firsthand, he was a lot more carefree... the cases didn't have a face. I think when he saw that, he kinda sobered up a bit.

However, I think he's still kind of funny and goofy at times. He's slightly been run through the ringer (especially in season 7), but I think he's still the same Greggo. I think, though, that you can't have a character always be the same, though... especially someone with Greg's youth. It's almost inevitable that at some point, he'd have to grow up somewhat and mature.

I like both Gregs. As a lab tech, he brought much needed humor and it was good, but there were times that I'd be painfully embarrassed for the character (like the time he wore the headdress) or that Greg kinda annoyed me. As a CSI, he's matured (and gotten really sexy) but he's not as funny as he used to be.

I like labrat Greg better (Not saying that I hate CSI Greg). When he became a CSI he lost this charisma that he use to have, I miss that.:( (And his wacky hair )

I chose both. I loved him as a lab rat.....he was fun and goofy. I think he still has those qualities to an extent but he has matured alot as well.

Lab Rat Greg -
Remember when he had the headdress on and was talking to Catherine and Grissom was standing behind him? I had to rewind the DVD like 5 times and watched it over and over. HAHAHA I miss my lab rat Greg! He was sooo funny!
