I've got a funny story about blood donations.
A classmate of mine donated his blood and a few days later he received a letter from the hospital, his parents opened it,it said:"thanks for donating your blood, unfortunatly we couldn't use it because you tested positive in marijuana".

I'm B+, not so sure on the Rh factor though, because I tested it in my Gr. 11 Biology class and the test isn't the greatest for Rh.

I am B+ along with one of my sons and my dad. My other son is O+. I didn't find out what my blood type was until they did blood tests when I was pregnant...that was at age 29. Only 9% of the population is B+, definately a minority.

Thank god there's someone with B.
Either my dad or my mom is B, don't remember which one.

Anyways, in Finland A (44%) is the most common, then comes O (31%), B is 17% and AB is 8%

When in the world it goes

    O 45%, A 40%, B 11% and AB 4%

ETA: Those "world types" can change a bit, depends where you look at

I think I'm O Neg but Im not positive if it's RH Pos or RH Neg. If it's neg, it's kinda rare. But even though I'm an adult, I don't weigh enough to be a donor. At least now that my weight has dropped again. Sometimes having a high metabolism is wierd lol.

I thought I bump this if we'd still get more votes.

I still can't believe we have 2 ABneg and 5 ABpos but only two B+ and no B-
