Happy to help with the textures. I have links to a few more sites here:
Texture King - for photos of real-life objects than can be used as textures

Stock Xchange - this site actually provides stock photos but if you do a search for textures there is a few nice ones. You have to a member but it is free. Also watch out as some photos have restrictions on use - you can limit the search parameters to disclude these though.

Appendix Squared - also provides brushes, stock and fonts

Bittersweetheart - only a few large textures so far but also provides brushes and gradients

sanami276 - textures, brushes etc...

And of course, sanami's host site
Deviant Art itself is very good for finding texture providers

Apologies if you already know some or all of these sites.
