Wallace Langham Joins The Regular Cast of 'CSI'

CSI Files

Captain
Actor Wallace Langham (David Hodges) has been recently hired as a regular cast member on CSI.

According to the Hollywood Reporter Wallace Langham, who first appeared on the show in the episode "Recipe For Murder", will be joining the regular cast of CSI. Langham plays the lab's grumpy technician David Hodges, whose role was already slightly expanded this season due to colleague Greg Sanders's promotion to CSI status. The actor has appeared in 24 episodes so far.

Wallace Langham is not an unknown face in the television world. His credits range from comedy to drama, with guest appearances in television shows such as Sex and the City and very recently NBC's Medium. But fans may mostly remember him for his comedic starring roles in the now long gone Veronica's Closet, The Larry Sanders Show, and What About Joan, among others.

This is not the first time CSI has granted regular cast status to an actor with a recurring role. After two seasons of on again/off again appearances, both Eric Szmanda (Greg Sanders) and Robert David Hall (Dr. Al Robbins) were given star billing in season 3's opener, "Revenge is Best Served Cold." On CSI: Miami, actors Sofia Milos (Yelina Salas) and Jonathan Togo (Ryan Wolfe) were promoted to regular cast member status this season after their roles were credited as recurrent first.

It is not yet known when Langham will be added to the opening credits. For the original article, visit the Hollywood Reporter. Thanks to Al Forno for this!

I wonder how this will affect the ammount of screen time the other characters will/will not get. Lots of people have complained that the cast is big enough as it is. But I guess they need a lab technician now that Greg is... not.

Me? I don't mind cause I've always liked Hodges.

Still, congratulations to Wallace.

Well in the ep "Unbearable" he had time and so did the rest of the cast, they all seemed to work insync with the screen time.

CONGRATS TO WALLACEEEE!!! Hodges isn`t THAT bad of a guy! why do people hate him?! he`s just...snobby and show-offy! LOL
