Nope, it was originally announced back in June. (Here's the CSI Files article.)

I like her so far, although the character still needs to mesh with the team a bit more. It's realistic and a bit prickly at the moment, but I feel like they're all coming to an understanding of one another, lol. So far, I love her interactions with Percy in particular.

I'm sorry to hear that. I really don't care for her or the character. Didn't care for her in CSI, NY.
