Vanessa Ferlito (Aiden Burn) is getting ready to join the cast of Quentin Tarantino's new segment flick Death Proof.
Tarantino's slasher flick is part of the two segment films that together will be known as Grindhouse. Director Robert Rodriguez is responsible of the other segment film known as Planet Terror. The film also stars Rosario Dawson, Rose McGowan, Jordan Ladd, Tamiia Poitier, Marley Shelton, Tracie Thoms, and others.
"I play one of the three leads: There's three girls," Ferlito explained. "Her name is Arlene, and she' a [University of Texas] graduate. Of course, [Tarantino and Rodriguez] have to take it back to Texas. They love Texas.
"And I go down to visit my friends again, and there's a crazy stalker guy of course," she added. "I can't really tell -- I'm not really allowed to talk about it, but it's really twisted. When I read it, I was like, 'Oh my God.'"
Ferlito seems to have a full plate right now. She's currently starring in Shadowboxer opposite Cuba Gooding Jr..
Grindhouse will be released in theaters nationwide on Easter weekend, April 6, 2007. Visit Zap2It to learn more about it.
