Hello All
I'm 29 and from Scotland (SHOCKER!!). I'm married with a 6 (going on 50!) year old daughter.
I'm unable to work anymore as I am currently battling my 3rd round of cancer (they say 3rd time lucky... I would very much would like to beat the person who made that phrase up
LOL)
I never watched TV at all until I got sick, now I'm housebound and totally addicted. I'm not a big fan of moaning and groaning about what life hands you. My life mantra is 'Your problems do not define you'. I can't stand attention seeking or people who ride the pity parade. I'm an extremely lucky woman to have an amazing husband and our angelic daughter... I can't ask for much more.
I tell people about my cancer not as a 'please pity me' tatic but because I take a lot of morphine and it tends to ruin my memory, I feel bad when people write something to me and I forget 2 seconds later.
Anyway, as you can see... I talk (type!) WAYYYYYY to much but it keeps the old grey matter going. I LOVE laughing and making people laugh. I'm very sarcastic and I often worry that this offends people. I'm the 1st to apologise if I'm in the wrong and greatly respect people who do the same. I can't stand bossy, needy, disrespectful or mean people. Other than that, I love every bugger regardless of colour, religion or lifestyle choice.
I use far to many '...'s' and comma's in everything and my grammer and spelling are appauling. Oh, and I'm a total 'puter tard, so any help on that front would be gratefully received
I love NY Rangers hockey, I love going to watch Scottish football but rarely can now and I live to read books and watch my husband and daughter draw endless pictures together.
I LOVE all the CSI's but have a soft spot for the New York one. Don Flack is a total hero and makes the show. I think Stella, Hawks and Danny are first rate too.
I love Nick Stokes and Gil from LV and I'm a huge Tim Speedle fan... as he no longer is in Miami (damn you all to hell Miami producers... even if Rory did want out!) so needless to say, I no longer watch that one. I'm probably missing a lot though so maybe I'll un-dig (yeah, I know it's not a word!) my heals and give it another go.
Right, I can see most of you trying to escape out the nearest exits so I'll shut the hell up for now and stop typing everything that enters my head.
I look forward to 'meeting' new people and reading all your posts.
Cheery for now.
H Haggis!
