Welcome, chikitorocks. You need to have made at least 50 posts and have been a member for two weeks before you can have an avatr (picture below your user name). Don't worry; if you are a true CSI fan, that should come quickly. We all went through it. But I think you can have a banner picture in your signature any time. For more info, check out the Rules, Guidelines, Useful Information, and Links thread in the General CSI FOrum of this board.

So grab some virtual jelly rolls or other snacks from the table by the door, pull up a keyboard, and have fun.

At the top of the page, on the left, is the link to the UserCP. If you go in there, the signature is the second link under 'Settings and Options' on the left. You can then type in your text and save it or you can put in a signature banner.

If you remote link to the banner (maximum 220 pixels wide by 75 pixels tall, BTW) on Photobucket or something, you just use the IMG code to put it in. If you want to upload the banner, choose 'Browse' down toward the bottom and pick the file, then when it is uploaded, you have to click 'Insert Signature Picture' next to where the image shows up. :)

Erm, I'm not sure to be honest. If there is then it will only affect the banner if you're trying to upload it to the server, then it might not show the image until you have 50 posts etc... If you bypass that and just enter the IMG code in the box then the banner should show up as an image without any problems.

Nope, I dont think there is, I think I can remember that you only need a specific number of posts to be able to use an icon or post pics, but not for a sign image :)
