Ladies and gentleman, for your consideration...<p>The episode submissions for the <I>2008 Primetime Emmy Awards</I> are in. <I>CSI: Crime Scene Investigation</I> has submitted the season eight premiere, <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season8/dead_doll.shtml">"Dead Doll"</a>, and the <I>CSI</I> half of the crossover with <I>Without a Trace</I>, <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season8/who_and_what.shtml">"Who and What"</a>, for consideration. <I>CSI: Miami</I> submitted the two-parter, <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/miami/season6/all_in.shtml">"All In"</a> and <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/miami/season6/ambush.shtml">"Ambush"</a>. <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/newyork/season4/right_next_door.shtml">"Right Next Door"</a> was the episode submitted for <I>CSI: New York</I>.<p>The franchise also made submissions for the acting categories. All three series offered their leading men for consideration. <font color=yellow>William Petersen</font> (Gil Grissom) was submitted for "Dead Doll", <font color=yellow>David Caruso</font> (Horatio Caine) for "All In" and <font color=yellow>Gary Sinise</font> (Mac Taylor) for <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/newyork/season4/train_to_nowhere.shtml">"The Thing About Heroes"</a>. <font color=yellow>Marg Helgenberger</font> (Catherine Willows) and <font color=yellow>Emily Procter</font> (Calleigh Duquesne) were submitted in the lead actress category for <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season8/a_thousand_days_on_earth.shtml">"A Thousand Days on Earth"</a> and "All In", respectively.<p>In the supporting actor category, <I>CSI</I> submitted <font color=yellow>Gary Dourdan</font> (Warrick Brown, <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season8/for_gedda.shtml">"For Gedda"</a>), <font color=yellow>Paul Guilfoyle</font> (Jim Brass, <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season8/grissoms_divine_comedy.shtml">"Grissom's Divine Comedy"</a>, <font color=yellow>Robert David Hall</font> (Dr Al Robbins, <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season8/the_theory_of_everything.shtml">"The Theory of Everything"</a>), <font color=yellow>Wallace Langham</font> (David Hodges, <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season8/you_kill_me.shtml">"You Kill Me"</a>) and <font color=yellow>Eric Szmanda</font> (Greg Sanders, "The Theory of Everything"). <font color=yellow>George Eads</font> (Nick Stokes) is also listed, but there is no episode specified. In the same category, <I>Miami</I> offered <font color=yellow>Jonathan Togo</font> (Ryan Wolfe, <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/miami/season6/cyber_lebrity.shtml">"Cyber-lebrity"</a>), and <I>New York</I> offered both <font color=yellow>Carmine Giovinazzo</font> (Danny Messer, <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/newyork/season4/childs_play.shtml">"Child's Play"</a>) and <font color=yellow>AJ Buckley</font> (Adam Ross, <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/newyork/season4/down_the_rabbit_hole.shtml">"Down the Rabbit Hole"</a>) for consideration. <I>CSI</I> was the only series to offer a submission for the supporting actress category, submitting <font color=yellow>Jorja Fox</font> (Sara Sidle) for <A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season8/goodbye_and_hello.shtml">"Goodbye and Good Luck"</a>, her final episode before leaving the show.<p>In the guest actor and actress categories, <I>CSI</I> submitted <font color=yellow>Dennis Christopher</font> (<A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season8/episode_ten.shtml">"Lying Down with Dogs"</a>), <font color=yellow>Anthony LaPaglia</font> ("Who and What"), <font color=yellow>Harold Perrineau</font> (<A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/csi/season8/go_to_hell.shtml">"Go to Hell"</a>) and <font color=yellow>Bonnie Bedelia</font> ("Grissom's Divine Comedy"). <font color=yellow>Peter James Smith</font> (<A class="link" HREF="http://www.csifiles.com/episodes/miami/season6/to_kill_a_predator.shtml">"To Kill a Predator"</a>) and <font color=yellow>Elizabeth Berkley</font> ("Ambush") were submitted for <I>Miami</I>. <I>CSI: NY</I> didn't submit any actors or actresses in the guest star categories. None of the series submitted episodes for directing or writing.<p>The current issue of the <A class="link" HREF="http://www.emmys.tv/emmymag/index.php">Emmy Magazine</a> contains a fold-out page for the three <I>CSI</I> series. Each of the shows has its own panel with the words "For your consideration" across the top. <font color=yellow>Tina Fey</font> is on the cover of the magazine, which is issue #3 for 2008.
