Cath walked up and bumped into Laura on her way out. "Oh, I'm sorry. I should watch where I'm goin'." She flushed, embarrassed.

 

Laura looked at the Blonde in front of her,she had tears in her eyes "I was just on my way out" she sniffles "I came to see my daughter but apparently she has no desire to see me and well I dont really blame her"

 

Cath gasped. She'd know this woman anywhere. "You're Sara's mom, aren't you?" She extended a hand. "Catherine Willows."

 

Laura smiled atleast someone around here was being nice to her,she eyed the woman in front of her "Laura Sidle" she frowned "I came here to talk to Sara,to maybe Make up for Lost time but she doesnt even want to talk to me"

 

Cath nodded. She kind of knew what had happened, but wasn't entirely sure. "Come on. Have an iced tea on me."

 

Laura smiled trying to make small talk "SO Sara and that young man how long have they been together" It hadnt occurred to her that no one in the lab knew about Sara and Nick "the man with the Texan Accent"

 

Cath blinked. "Oh, you mean Nick? Well, to be honest, I'm not sure. Sara's never mentioned it."

 

Laura looked slightly shocked "really because she's carrying his child I would have thought her supervisor would know at least" she had no way of knowing that Catherine wasnt Sara's supervisor
