Dude! I wore all those things to school (we didn't have school uniforms where I went!) I was one of the first to wear DMs in school and people would just stare at my boots, giving me a funny look like, 'What the hell is she wearing?' But everyone caught on with the fashion trend! :lol: So I wasn't too out of place! I even sprained my ankle when I was wearing my eight-eye DMs. It was really horrible but then I got to wear Birkenstocks to school 'cause my ankle was so swollen! The only bonus was skipping P.E.! :p :lol: I can't believe I went through my grunge phase, when I usually am preppy (fashion-wise) at heart! :lol:

Remember "Singles" with Matt Dillon and this long hair of his? everybody was striving to get that Matt Dillon/Eddie Veder look :guffaw:

Hah, how could I forget this one! I actually dragged the whole family after Sunday lunch to see this one, yeah, including the parental units! :lol: After the movie, my Mom and Dad were like, 'what the hell was that?' :lol: It was pure torture for them sitting through the entire movie! My siblings and I were laughing like hell about it. :guffaw: We still do! :guffaw:

My sister and I are huuuge DURANIs! However, we didn't get to see them since we were out of town. Grrr.... Simon LeBon is so freakin' sexy! Can you believe that he made my five-year old heart all aflutter while my sister was into John Taylor. But nowadays both of us are still pretty crazy over Roger Taylor! :lol:
