I remember reading once that David Caruso thought Horatio was a kind of mythical figure. I think that's very true - there's definitely an air of mystery about him.

I agree, he would make a wonderful Dad and husband. I know he has a demanding, tough job, but he would be very caring and loyal. :)

Yep, especially the ´Sexy creation had his hat tilted to the side´ (to me it always sounds like ´head´, so I HAD to think of him..hihi) and ´My oh my you seem like husband material´ parts I think..lol...

Okay, I have a confession to make and I thought this would be the appropriate place to make it. Ever since it started, I have railed against CSI Miami and complained about the horribleness of Horatio Caine. A couple of weeks ago, I decided to give the show another try and started watching from season one. I would like to say that I did not fully comprehend the beauty of the character of Horatio Caine and I now believe that he's a completely wonderful character. And I'm a complete Horatio/Yelina shipper. I just bought the second season on DVD and plan to watch it soon. So, all I have to say is "Long Live Horatio!"

Disclaimer: My loyalty still lies with the original CSI, but Horatio/David makes CSI Miami totally worth watching.

A couple of weeks ago, I decided to give the show another try and started watching from season one. I would like to say that I did not fully comprehend the beauty of the character of Horatio Caine and I now believe that he's a completely wonderful character. And I'm a complete Horatio/Yelina shipper. I just bought the second season on DVD and plan to watch it soon. So, all I have to say is "Long Live Horatio!"

I had the same sort of conversion experience a couple years ago :cool:, and I gave up on the original halfway through last season.
