Uh-oh, the mods are gettin' on our butts now. *backs away slowly*

Anyway, really all that documentary thingus said was stuff we already, basically know. Mendelson [or however you spell her name] just said that this season they're expanding on the "Warrick-Nick" relationship; which, to be honest, stopped my heart for a minute, but then she added "Not that they're sleeping together." And then the world turned right side up again. Uhm... George said something about how he hopes they don't do anything traumatic to Nick again or something. LOL. I don't really remember. And Eric basically said that the old Greggie is back cuz he doesn't like being "too serious." Yup, all in all, I'm happy. :) And then he autographed something for a little boy and it made me go, "Awwww!"

So, now I guess that wouldn't be considered talking about the ship, so here goes... I really, really hope there is some touchy-feely moments between the guys this season. That would kick arse, can't live without subtext. Uh... still holding out for another NO GIRLFRIENDS season for our boys. Who isn't? I hate worrying about that. Drives me crazy. Is that three or more lines yet? Okay, I'll just go now. XD
 
To 1CSIMfan~ I appoligize if I come off bitchy but I have a question for you, "If we have clearly have 3 or more lines regarding the topic, in this thread Nick & Greg can RPing be allowed?????"

I'm starting ot get concerned that the writers are not going to do this ship justice and have any really good subtexty moments between Nick and Greg. I know there have been some and I'm thankful for TPTB doing so. But I think we might have to wait until sometime next year to see some really good moments. *sigh*
 
I'd have to agree with you, OTL. From the things I've been observing as of late, it seems like TPTB are trying to comply a bit with a certain few sections of the fanbase. Which means, they've had to at least SKIM over an N/G concern. And I think they've started to finally catch on, but not in the good way.

Hopefully, it'll go the same as last season. A few looks, a few touches, maybe one gets emotional over the other or something. But I'm hoping they'll do SOMETHING to keep us placated. I'm not about to give up on this ship, not by any means, but it's frustrating when you don't actually see anything happening anymore, ya know?

Surely they didn't just figure we'd be happy with 'A La Cart' for the whole season.
 
Hang on, didn't most of the RP posts also include at least three lines discussing the Nick/Greg ship as well? I'm pretty sure they weren't plain RP posts with nothing else.

Good news on the computer front - didn't have to format it. Bad news on the tv front - they skipped the episode "Lab Rats" here. Isn't that the episode where Greg says to Hodges "kiss my arse".

So we have "Happy Ending" on now, and nothing on the Nick/Greg front. Please tell me that there is something to look forward to in the forthcoming episodes.

As for the picture analysis - I wish a trained professional would analyse the pictures of the boys. I'd love to hear what they say. If anything, I'm sure The Love would score higher than GSR in terms of photo analysis.
 
I really have a good feeling about this season not as far as Nick & Greg getting together romantically (I don't expect TPTB to go there any time soon if at all) but I think with Sara out of the picture it can only mean more screen time for Greg and more opportunities for Nick & Greg to work together. The more they work together, the more subtext there will be.

Plus the spoilers for the first 9 or 10 episodes indicate some good N/G moments to look forward to. I really think it will get better.
 
Hm, I'm torn between two things. First I fear a girlfriend coming up and this fear just won't go away as much as you try to calm or reason it down, so I can understand you, Zodiac.
Second, I'm oh so glad that some of you always make me feel better when I'm overcome with mentioned fear. I trust the spoilers and hope for at least a touch, a look, a conversation ... being in the same room as cool with me too.

But then again, Sara's gone and they will need a replacement! Probably a female one. There's always the chance that Sofia returns but I think she likes being a cop.

OMG, I'm so freaking out right now, please cheer me up, bring up some theories that make me look as paranoid as I am.

It appears that we are not allowed to talk about off topic matters. It also appears that we are not allowed to talk about our own intepretation of Nick and Greg in fanfiction.

All we can talk about is them on screen.

They haven't been on screen for a while so.... I thought that we was talking about nick and greg, clearly not.

Ah well ladies.... Who can say what will happen but probably nothing....

No use worrying about something that hasn't happened yet and may not. As foe Sofia, I would not worry about her. In fact I hear she has gotten another show and is off CSI for now.

It does not seem they will replace Sara, unless Ronnie stays.

Also, for those who are already a member, besides Candy, did you get the PM I sent out to everyone a few days ago? If not, I'll resend it out.

And Candy, I agree. We are talking about Nick and Greg. Talking about them incorporates everything that has to do with them including fanfiction, because otherwise we would hardly be talking at all, and I wouldn't know who you all are. And when someone disappears for awhile we like to know they're still alive so it's nice to know a little of what's going on in the world outside of N/G. I mean, we all know how little screen time those two get...so to only talk about that, we'd be over analyzing it to death... not good. at all.
I don't mean to rant, but what else are we supposed to talk about? This is the N/G forum, it should include all aspects of N/G, right?
 
Yes and no, I think some fans might stop watching due to homophobic attitudes but I also think that a lot more fans such as those from GLAD would support the show and bring more publicity and publicity usually equals ratings. I'm thinking it could go either way at this point. I doubt it we'll ever get to find out, unfortunately.

BTW- Lonewolf we are being told by the mods to follow the at least three line rule when posting. In other words our post has to be at least three lines long... :rolleyes:

Since there's no more RPGishing here, I guess Stacy and I will have to discuss and find a new home.

If TPTB don't want angry Love fans with torches, they better not get Nick and Greg with some bimbo if not with each other. GRRR! That's why I HATE Ronnie and any female on this show that interacts with our boys!

Oh, Clarrisani, I watched Tourchwood again. One word, stopwatch, lol, if only our boys had subtext like that! Could you just imagine!?!?

Off topic is any discussion that is not about Nick/Greg. On topic is discussion of Nick/Greg and nobody said it had to be onscreen only.

No, most of the RP posts contain nothing except RP posts...just look up this page and you'll see. It doesn't really matter anyway because RPing must be taken to the fanfic forum. It cannot continue in here.

ETA: BTW, LiveJournal is a great place to RP. ;) I'm in an RP community on there and you might want to try it over there.
 
Twins- There's always The Love ship, which is highly under-used, and not, from what I can tell, as regulated as here.

1CSIMfan- ok, I feel better now. And yes, you are right about the rpg posts not having anything else in them. Though I still don't see why they can't be here, but whatever. I don't want to make a big stink.

For the record though, I like Sofia. She's cool and she's a tough woman, which makes her cool by itself. I highly doubt they'd pair her up with either Greg or Nick, just as much as I doubt she'd go back to being a CSI. Really, all that subtext just gets in the way of a relationship with anyone else on the show! I mean, come on! All those looks and everything, those two have got to be together behind everyone's backs. lol, probably behind the writer's backs too, the actors maybe know it, with all their adlibs (sp?) and just keep telling the writers they don't want their characters in a relationship with anyone... yeah, wouldn't that be great! lol...
