Hi everyone, I've only recently begun to watch any CSI programmes, and I'm enjoying them immensely!

I was looking at the IMDB website tonight and it mentioned the above episode as being Cross-Jurisdiction, and that it featured both the Gil Grissom and Brass characters in it.

I'm a little puzzled, as the 1st episode I have, and the first mentioned in your episode guide is Golden Parachute. Can anybody tell me what happened to this pilot episode, and whether it's still available anywhere? Thanks in advance for any help.

IMDB link was as follows:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0534785/

Cross-Jurisdiction, which introduced the Miami team, was an episode of the original CSI, season 2 episode 22. Golden Parachute was the first actual episode of the Miami series. So C-J would probably be part of the CSI (LV) DVD set.

I hope i'm understanding you correctly.

The very first episode of CSI: Miami by the miami team its self is Golden Parchute. But the episode that introduced the CSI: Miami team was Cross Jursidications which featured both William Peterson and Paul Gaulfoyle who plays Jim Brass. So Cross-J happend before Golden Parchute did.

Technically the episode Cross-J is considered a CSI: Las Vegas episode because it began in that city but it was carried over to Miami to introduce the characters.

And actually the episode Cross J can be found in the CSI: Miami season 1 box set and in the CSI: las vegas season 2 box set.

I hope that helps.

Hi and thanks for your replies!! I'm looking forward to watching that episode. :)
