Sorry guys My lappy died on me this weekend (I got it back last night) and i cant save pics here on my work PC to upload to my photocbucket (they save as .bmp). I should be able to sort through all the icons tonight and get voting up then if I have them all. SO very sorry!

Round 3 Voting

Voting Rules:
~ Absolutely anyone may vote! You don't have to be an 'expert' ;)
~ Vote for the Top 3 of least quality, and the Top 2 of best quality.
~ Votes for least quality Must have a reason, or they will not be counted. Reasons for best quality are strongly encouraged ;)

(the following examples may have been "borrowed" from other sources)

Good Examples:
34: Text is oddly placed
50: Icon is over sharpened
62: Image is too blurry

Poor Examples:
96: I don't like the colour (personal preference)
52: Tiny text/decorative brushes are unreadable (it's supposed to be that way)

Least:

15 - The text overpowers the icon and Sheldon looks a bit blurry.
08 - The image is over sharpened.
02 - The image is oversharpened as well.

Best:

01 - The colouring in the picture is awesome and I love the smiley face.
04 - Really neat idea. That's all I can say :p

Least:

11: There's something strange with the coloring, seems there's some red where it shouldn't be
02: A little oversharpened
12: Though I like the crop... seems like not much has been done to the icon

Best:

07: I just love the coloring and the text!
10: The frame looks so good

11: The colors don't seem to gel together very well and the icon could have used a little more contrast to make it 'pop'.
01: The centered crop makes the icon seem 'bulky' (if that makes sense), leaving less of a balance between negative space and the subject.
15: Really cool concept but the text seems to take over the icon and detract focus from the subject.

Best

09: Nicely put together, attractive coloring.
10: Beautiful colouring and clarity.

02: Poor job was done cutting subject out of the picture, causing it to look choppy and like it was just cut and pasted. Also a little bit too sharpened, especially around the head area.
04: The idea was nice with this, but the background blending with his face is way too distracting.
18: The coloring is too dark and lacks contrast.

16 - i don't see much creativity

10 - great concept, pretty outcome
03 - i like the idea of blending, turned out nicely

2 - The background colors blends a bit too much with the image and the cut is a bit sharp.
15 - Text overpowers the icon.
11 - Nice idea...might have worked better with two different shades other than these.

15 that text is just to much, it makes hawkes look too "unimportant"
11 that red doesnt really fit in the icon...its just...red and grey
13 too light in my opinion

13- the background is to stark a contrast with the jacket
