14: unfortunate resizing. his face is stretched.
22: the orange is overpowering, icon is too dark.
24: the coloring is strange and Adam looks like an alien. :p

26: very creative. love it!
27: beautiful colors, great composition, and sharpness is perfect.

Least:
11 - The text is too small, it could have been made larger. Too much empty space.
14 - Adam looks a little stretched, maybe there's a different way you could have cropped the icon.
22 - A little dark, could have added a little more coloring.

Best:
01 - The coloring for that picture worked very well in making the icon.
21 - Sometimes the simpliest colorings will give such a lovely effect, but the text made this one stand out.

22-image is too dark
10-text is hard to read
26-too much empty/unused space

Best:
04-good coloring and use of text
12-text placement is great and background is pleasantly different

10 - Image is a little grainy and can't really read the text.
24 - Strange colours. Adam looks a little... smurfy.
05 - Adam is pretty far to the side. He's not really the main focus of the icon, the texture draws the eye more than he does.

Best:
08 - Simple yet great colouring, the text stands out because of the colour behind it.
26 - Creative. I like how he blends into the texture, and the text is great, although could have been a bit bigger.

05 - Adam's face looks to orange.
14 - Looks a bit "smashed".
10 - A tad grainy and the text is oddly placed.

Best:
16 - Just love the colouring on this one, great job.
09 - Lovely use of texture and geat colouring, love it.

10 - pale and grainy, text is oddly placed and not easy to read.

Best:

2 - very nice crop and colouring!
26 - love it. very creative.

14 - unfortunately the resizing of the pic ruined the icon. Adam's face looks stretched.
13 - the text colour matches perfectly with the stuff Adam has on his head, but it's a little bit oddly placed.
10 - the text and brush colours are pretty odd considering the icon.

Best:
09 - texture and brush match perfectly with the rest of the icon.
19 - Love the bubble texture on it.

22 - too dark, face and background have the same colour, the border is missing between them
14 - Adam's body proportion aren't correct, contrast is missing
24 - his face is too blue, it loks a little blurry, the text is not correctly placed

Best:
9 - nice colouring, is simply but looks marvellous
19 - wonderful colouring again, like the light effect in the background

Meh, how I hate to vote in this challenge :p Great work, everyone! But I have to...

Least:
24 - oddly placing of the text: either smaller cropping of Adam so that the text fits under his chin without running through his face, or just go without text. And Adam's face it a bit too blueish
05 - unfortunate use of texture, it's too overwhelming and distracting from Adam
14 - Adam's proportions don't fit, he looks squished.

(One tip for icon makers of #7 and #10: when you have the option save your icons as .jpg or .png, saving them as .gif-files always reduces the quality :))


Best:
19 - awesome! Great coloring and lovely light-bubble effect, everything fits :)
08 - coloring, cropping, use and place of text - again everything fits!

LQ:

#14- Bad cropping/resizing left a poorly proportioned icon (advice: put the cropping settings 100px x 100 px instead of cropping at a guess and then resizing).

#22- Too orange, dark.

#10- Too blurry (advice: as cinegirl well said, save it as png or jpeg, gif looks blurry and it's only used for animations).


BQ:

#19- Nice colouring and use of light texture.

#26- Cool icon.

Least Quality :

07: I don't think the hand fits and there or dots in his face, from the texture I think...
17: texture not good erased from face and the text doesn't ...
24: coloring to blueish and purple .. and the text isn't very pretty ..

Best Quality:

08: Love the coloring, cropping and text !
26: Love the whole concept of the icon ! very unique style ! and lovely coloring !

14 - Adam appears to be somewhat squashed.
10 - The is oddly positioned and hard to read.
26 - The text is difficult to read and Adam is really small, a lot of empty space.

Best:

22 - Cropping works well, it's simple, yet eye catching.
08 - Simple, yet effective, the positioning of the text also works well.

Great job everyone, they all look great. :D

#10- too blurry

#22- a little to dark

#24- the text is oddly placed over the chin.

Best

#2- it's just nice and neatly done.

#19- love the overall effect. Very attractive to the eye
