Talk Law & Order Here

Re: Talk Law & Order Here *May Contain Spoilers*

In case you live on the West Coast, I'm putting this in a spoiler box.
As much as I liked the adversarial Goren/Nicole relationship, TPTB did end the season creatively. After the death of Goren's brother, there was no going back for them. Later, I loved the way Goren refused to believe Nicole was dead. It was more than his stated belief that she was fooling them. They really did care for one another, as two deeply damaged individuals will recognize that similarity and cling to each another. The saddest part was the little girl from "Grow" developing cancer. And, despite Declan's insanity, he was right about one thing: the new season in the Fall will start with a clean slate for Goren. Except for those unresolved feelings toward Alex. I think his now-late brother's comment about taking her to a motel and getting it over with may be the best line in the series' history! ;)

What Episode is This?

Hi, everyone. My friend says she was watching a show yesterday that looked like CSI wherein a frat boy was raped with a paddle handle or something like that. I asked yahoo answers what episode it was, but didn't get the right answer. I figured people here would be more prone to knowing. Thank you to anyone who knows what episode this is (if it is indeed CSI).

Re: What Episode is This?

It's not CSI. It's a Law & Order: SVU episode called "Brotherhood". I saw the episode the other night too. :)

Re: What Episode is This?

I am moving this to General TV so it can be merged into the "Talk about Law & Order".

Re: What Episode is This?

Desperatly waiting for S9 in the Uk though I know all that happens. I am a major Olivia/Alex shipper and I adore the characters of Casey Novak & Alex Cabot. I adore th strong characters of the females on SVU anyway but the ADA's are strong, tough and damn sexy!

Re: What Episode is This?

It will be interesting to see how they get along with the new ADA.

I mean, it started with Alex, then they were reluctant to let in Casey, and she became a great member of the team.

I wonder what's going to happen now?

It's a pity Diane Neal isn't going to be on it anymore. She was awesome.

I am looking forward to seeing Munch and Fin working back together though. That's always been hilarious.

Law and Order:CI

I'm surprised no one has a thread for this show!

It's brilliant!

Vincent D'Onofrio and Kathryn Erbe are awesome as Goren and Eames.

Re: Law and Order:CI

In a way there is a thread for it, its for all three shows. Four if you count Trial by jury. ;)

They're not all the same, though! They're from different points of view. TBJ, is about the lawyers and the jury, CI is about the mind of the criminal/crimes that they commit and of course SVU is about sex crimes.

TBJ is no longer around...so I wouldn't count it.

;)

The fact that they are all in one thread isn't based on them being the same style of show, its based on the fact that they are apart of the same franchise. TBJ is included for those who were fans of the show when it was orginially on the air. - Also it was easier to keep track because alot of people like to discuss all the characters going from show to show in one, getting or giving spoilers/news/etc. all in one thread.

I watch Criminal Intent and SVU. Criminal Intent is awesome, but I think some of the stuff they've been doing to Bobby's character is just getting out of hand.

That being said, watching Eames being all bitter was hilarious. Kathryn plays it so well.
