And I will stop talking about Green Day now, but sometimes it's hard for me to repress.
It's called Boulevard of Broken Dreams.Awesome job everyone. Kristine I'm not sure if you did it on purpose, but Green Day lyrics in an icon automatically make it cooler.
Oh sweet! After I made that icon that song was in my head! I didn't know it was a Green Day song! I like it!

csi icon challenge - textures
this time your icons can be anything, as long as you have a visible texture on it. you can use a simple light texture a colored background or a tiny text texture as long as its visible.
RULES:
1. You may enter up to 4 icons, 3 100x100 and 1 140x140
2. There are THREE categories to this challenge - Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced (If entering in Intermediate level, please include a second level -either Beginner and Advanced- incase there isn't enough entries for 3 levels) Please refer to the helpful guidelines if you need help determining what category to enter. Please be fair to others. If you keep winning in beginners, move up to advanced; let someone else win beginners and see if you place in advanced. That's how you get better, by challenging yourself.
3. Please PM your entry to me, fo_poozle, by 10pm Pacific Time tuesday; october 13th . (I will extend if needed,or if you'd like me to just let me know! the more entries the merrier!)
4. No vulgar words or phrases allowed.
5. Dont post your icons on here, PM them to me(if you can't pm feel free to email them to me, ashferd84@aol.com (if you email them please leave your username somewhere in the email). If they are seen on here or anywhere else you will be disqualified.
6. You can make your icons of the same person, or mix it up a bit. It doesn't matter

Body: Images, urls. (If you can't send images, just the urls are fine)

finger crossed that i don't completely suck and screw this challenge up too ha.
also i'm going to be out of town the 4th-7th so if you don't get a confirmation or a response right away don't worry, i'll get it whan i come back.
here's some textures i really love, but please feel free to use any kind you wish.
and i also uploaded a bunch(all credited in the tags) at my photobucket.
also if anyone needs any help with anything i'd be more than happy to try and help you out.

Textures! I always love to play with textures, however I suck at it :lol: Well not really suck, just takes me an extra long time and when I finally get to where it's almost finished I'm so frustrated I give up :shifty: but I'm up for a challenge and I'll see what I can get in!
