Melina's not my favorite actress (that spot is reserved for Emma Thompson) but she is definitely one of my favorites, shes so talented and absolutely gorgeous.

Yes! Finally, Stella figured out that creepy stalker Drew was just using her to get to Mac! Way to go girl! Good for you! Now, just keep away from creepy men. :lol:

Yay!! Finally, we have our itelligent-suspicious Stella back!

I think it was great she was the one sorting things out, you know, connecting Drew to the 333 case. Her expression while saying "OMG! I was part of his plan!" was priceless. But it was even better the "something in my gut told me" line. Really? So that's why you went for a couple of drinks with him late at night and why you went to his bistro with no back up? No way!

I loved her first outfit, too!! Not so many people can look as good as she does in deep purple, :p

I loved the interview. If you haven't read it yet, this is your warning that I'm gonna talk about it. :p

I understood what she was saying about "All Access," but I still think it was a horrible episode. It's very true that people who are great at their job can have screwed up personal lives, but the way this is shown on TV is almost always cliched. Add to that the "domestic violence can be sexy" vibe that I got off of AA, and I see it as the worst NY episode. The message of Stella "still being in control and overpowering [him]" was buried, IMO.

I el-oh-el'd at this comment about Stella and Lindsay: "I'm your boss, but I'm [also] your girlfriend and I care about you." It's been, what, a season and a half since "Silent Night" aired? I still haven't seen anything that has convinced me that Stella and Lindsay are anything other than co-workers.

A second el-oh-el moment was this comment about Drew as the 333 stalker: "I think it went down pretty well the way they wrote it, and I don't think anybody thought it would be him." There were a hell of a lot of people here who, if they didn't peg him as the 333 stalker right away, at least saw him as suspicious in some respect and wanted Stella to steer clear of him.

Even though Melina's take on these things didn't change my opinion of them, it was really fascinating to read how she sees different episodes, moments and relationships.

I loved her comments on the Stella/Mac and Stella/Flack dynamics and giggled when she mentioned Flack's ties. And Gary's practical joke? :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Kudos on another great interview, Kristine.
 
^I've just finished reading the interview and I loved it, I think it was soo interesting! It's always good knowing what the actors think about their characters and the show.

Btw, I'm willing to see wheter or not the story she "has create" developes to something more than just a "I've benn talking with the writters about it..."

Thanks for the heads up Elsie! It was great, I loved the parts where she was talking about Flack and his ties and Gary and his pressent!! :lol: All I can say is bring on Season 9/10!! :D

It was interesting to know that her favorite episode is All Access since it gave her so much to work with as an actor.
 
i loved this article as well. i read it before i went to class today, so reading all the funny parts put me in a good mood.

i also love when actors give some insight into their characters and what motivates or makes them a certain way. i also liked the way Melina mentioned that Stella grew from her experience with what happened to her in "All Access". i can totally see it, she seems more aware and stronger as a detective.

my fave thing Melina said was how her and Anna are always joking about how hot the guys are on the show haha. let me just say if i were a bit older and had the opportunity to be on the show i'd definitely wanna be single especially with Carmine and Eddie around haha.
 
One thing I really like about Melina is just about all the quotes I've read about her are saying how lovely and down to earth she is.

I really want to see that picture she was talking about :devil:
