I think it's just PR, nothing more, she said the same thing if it was Jake, John, Peter or another guy for Calleigh. I never heard that actress or actor say "I don't want this guy(girl) for my character!", so it's advertisment for show.

Just read this at Spoiler TV -- "And They're Offed" - When a murder occurs during a horse race, Horatio discovers that Ryan has a personal connection to the case.
I am glad each character is getting a storyline this season. I wonder if this episode is where we will see that little kid Ryan was shown dropping off at school

I totally agree with what you said about Emily's comment.

You know, I'm starting to think more and more that Billy may be Ryan's nephew and Billy's father may be married to Ryan's sister. Cause the whole "Horatio discovers Ryan has a personal connection to the case" thing... I mean, just being his sponsor isn't THAT personal. I mean, its not it would be if it were family... so I think this could be family related. Eva did say we'd be meeting some of Ryan's family this season. :)

I am hoping that is the case too. I can also see why when they were casting the part for Billy that they wanted him to have some kind of resemblence to Jonathan.

I really hope that we get to see Ryan and Billy inteact, because that is probably the sweetest thing, a man interacting with his niece/nephew or son/daughter. That would make my heart melt.

Well, if Mark is married to Ryan's sister, his sister isn't in this ep cause no one else with the last name is in the credits except for the boy. :lol:

Mark is NOT related to Ryan through marriage or any other way. He is Ryan's sponsor from Gambler's Anonymous. That is Ryan's personal connection to the case.

I know Mark's his sponsor. I'm just saying based on what Eva said about how we'll meet some of Ryan's family and the fact that the little boy was supposed to look like Jonathan, that maybe the writers would ALSO make Mark more than just Ryan's sponsor (at least that's what I was hoping lol). Some people do have relatives/friends sponsor them in addiction programs. I want the little boy to be Ryan's nephew. At the very least, I think they should make Mark and Ryan good friends (in addition to Mark being his sponsor) to the point that Billy calls him "Uncle Ryan" even if they aren't biologically related. :) It's just the casting call said the kid should resemble Jonathan and I don't buy the whole "it was just to make us think it was Ryan's kid" explanation cause not all kids look like their parents. I don't look that much like either of mine I don't think. :lol: I'm just hoping there might be more of a reason for them to want the kid to resemble him than just tptb playing with our minds. :lol:

Sometimes it is hard to pick up the sarcasm that people write b/c it is written and not said. But I get now what u meant!
 
No problem. :)

It just seems like we've met people in the families of every character ever in the opening credits (excluding Tara cause she's new) except for Frank and Ryan (actually I don't think we met any of Speed's family until his funeral which was weird). I'm just holding out hope that we'll get to see some of them soon. Frank's kids or ex wife, Ryan's sibling(s) and niece (that he got the ipod for). Gonna keep my fingers and toes crossed on that one. :D And if the show's writers don't come through for us, well... there's always fanfiction. :lol:

So I don't know enough about immigration laws but if Eric's father is an American citizen does that make him one even though he was born in Cuba? I know if the parent is stationed there for the American military they are but I don't know about anything else.

Well this guy is cute. Seriously I can't wait to watch this episode just to know what will happen to Ryan:p

IDK what to think about the choice Ryan will have to regarding Mike and his son Billy (oh gosh that kid is too cute).

As for Eric's father, his secret is something which, honestly, I'm not looking forward to, but we'll see since Eric's last episode was pretty good.

As for the interview, I'd like to say that EP is a woman and every woman (well almost :p) likes men, so whenever there's an opportunity to have a man or a relationship, even if it's fictional, it's alwyas such a great thing.
90% of actresses is excited whenever there's an opportunity like this.
I'd be the first to be excited right when there's an opportunity to shoot a romantic scene, no matter who the lucky guy is.
She did the same thing in every interview whenever they talked about a relationship for her character. There's no difference among these interviews.
Same thing for Adam. Every man (again, almost :p) likes women and whenever there's an opportunity to shoot a romantic scene everyone is excited.
So I don't understand this big deal regarding a normal interview. It's been like this for ages in every kind of show. So no....EP and AR are just as excited as actors, not because they love this shipping. It could be like this but these interviews do not proove anything and I think it's pretty useless to discussa about this thing on this thread so let's move on;)

Hey everyone,

The upcoming Eps sound great!:thumbsup: Thank you all for sharing the spoilers and tidbits.:p

I noticed we now have a bunch of new pictures from CBS but they aren't released yet. Does anyone have an in or connection over there? ;)

They made a few changes and the pictures I was once able to upload... well I can't anymore. :( I know a few who also stopped posting pics now due to the all the changes as well.

The new pics are from, "Head Case & They're offered. They look great too! :drool: I guess we'll just have to wait until TV.com hooks them up. It has been 2 days now, so I suppose it will happen soon enough!
