Thanks for the article Alex :D .

So this one should be Eric's father??? WOW! Next time they can pick up a Japanese to play his little brother, the one he never had .
Seriously, how can this man be Delko's father considering his mother??? Well she's another one I would have never said she could play that role.
Sorry, I just don't get it:confused:

Anyway this man is perfect to play a Russian:lol:.
Can't wait to see what they'll come up with.

Ha...well I guess that's all they can come up with by trying to make a Puerto Rican be Cuban and Russian!!

Didn't Eric say his father's last name was Sharova? (not Sarapov unless that's how it's pronounced) And Eric's mom said his dad was a bad man. But, this guy is gonna be a Russian agent. So, he's kind of like a Russian cop or something? I dunno.

I guess you pronounce Sarapov like Sharova or something like this ;) , they're pretty similar.
Actually, we don't know whether he's a bad man as his mother said or he's a good man. I think she said "he's a bad man" not because he's actually bad, just because she didn't like him anymore. She said it was mistake.
Plus Russian agant can also mean he's a bad man, it's not necessarily good.
I still think he's the same man.

Anyway, ass far as I know his father is supposed to be Russian but, actually, he's from Texas.
This man matches to that kind of profile.
IDK, I think it's his father ;).

Thanks for the information, Alex. :)

I think it's really interesting that the character's Russian but grew up in Texas, it certainly would make for some neat experiences, especially if like he said, some think of him as Russian and others as American because he could play on both sides if he were some sort of 'double agent' at one point in his life. (or possibly currently lol)

Here's his IMDB page if anyone's interested just to get a feel of what else he's done. (Says he was on 'The Quiet American' so I'm assuming this is the same man mentioned in the article)

Rade Serbedzija is a great actor... (he's Serbian/Croatian, he's very popular here). He's also a great singer and writer. It's just sad that he hasn't learned English as a child so he never lost the accent and that made it impossible for him to get a role of anything but a Slav person in American movies... I think he's great choice for Eric's father... About Eric's skin... Genetics is very weird thing... For example, my skin is very fair and both of my parents have darker skin. My fair skin is probably the result of some gene I got from some ancestor. It could be the same for Eric. It's enough if one of his grandparents had dark skin.

I do not have any doubt about Rade Serbedzija as an actor since I know he's just great.
It's just that I don't get him playing Eric's father and it's not just about his skin;)

Anyway can't wait to see his performance:thumbsup:

If the actor is Serbian then it isn't really much of a stretch for him to play a Russian. The two places are very close together I think. And I thought Eric's mother looked the part, personally. She reminds me a little of Benny from The George Lopez show. However, its very possible that Eric's biological father is only Russian only his father's side and Sarapov's biological mother could be American, thus explaining his skin tone.

So, "DelkoDaddy" is a Russian agent from Texas who doinked "DelkoMami" in Cuba & now he's in Miami?!! :wtf::wtf:

I wonder if our favorite Texan Francis will know who he is...or will convienantly have heard about him before....

Yep! Genetics is weird. My sister and her husband both have brown hair and eyes. All three of their children have blue eyes and one is a blonde (but then so am I so she comes by it from my sisters side of the family-but to an outsider it looks weird and she gets asked about it all the time).
Even my boys are as different as night and day with skin tone. One is pasty white and burns easily and the other looks mediteranean and tans really easily (gets it from my g'father) but they both look alike --features wise.
So to me it's not that big of a stretch to see Delko look that much different than his parents.

Oh Sh%$! Have you googled this guys name to see how he looks? He's white, well at least his complexion is, and so is the woman who plays Eric's mother, so where does he get his complexion from? What? I don't get it!

Here's the link for a picture:

Complexions don't mean anything....my father is first generation in this country and 100% Italian and he burns like a b*st*rd whereas me and my sister tan very well and have a darker complexion. My mother is German, Irish, Scottish and Italian!! Those, other than the Italian, don't exactly make for great tanning skin!! ;)

I just found out that the January 26th repeat will be "Resurrection" the season premiere. So once again the schedule (tentatively) is as follows:

1/5-Repeat-"Tunnel Vision"
1/12-New- "Head Case"
1/19-New- "And They're Offed"
1/26-Repeat- "Resurrection"
2/2-New- "Smoke Gets in Your CSI's"
2/9-New- "Presumed Guilty"
2/16- New- "Sink or Swim"

I am hoping this week we will get some new spoilers but given the short week b/c of New Year's we may have to wait til next week.

Has anyone considered the possibility that maybe Eric likes to go out and tan?!?!

I don't think it's that big of a deal...

Genetics is indeed a funny thing. My mom has brown eyes and my dad's are blue. Mine are green. Dad has a rather ruddy complexion with black hair and my mom looks very southern Italian and often gets mistaken for such. I have very pale skin and red hair. I'm not adopted. There was no switch at the hospital because I look just like my dad. I have several of his facial features and his long limbed short torsoed build. I've been mistaken as Irish, English, Welsh, Scottish, etc. They're nowhere near the mark. My dad is Russian and Polish and my mom is Polish. I look like a full-blood Celt but am actually Slavic. Go figure.
