Speed Therapy #5: 'Understanding The Full Speed Effect'

I'm convinced he's coming back to the show. Katie and I have disussed it and it would take too long to explain here, but it involves IMDB.com and our theory.

*evil cackle and rubs hadns together* You can't fool us imdb.com! NO way! *Clears throat* So anyways how about that Rory Cochrane huh?! lol.

Well I'm going to explain our theory because I think it has some merrit. If not, we can hypothesize right?

Okay well I visited imdb.com this morning. I looked down at the credits for Rory Cochrane and it says:

A Scanner Darkly (2006) .... Freck
"CSI: Miami" .... Tim Speedle (2002-2004)
- One of Our Own (2006) TV Episode .... Tim Speedle
- Lost Son (2004) TV Episode .... Tim Speedle
- Innocent (2004) TV Episode .... Tim Speedle
- MIA/NYC Nonstop (2004) TV Episode .... Tim Speedle
- Rap Sheet (2004) TV Episode .... Tim Speedle
(44 more)
Right at Your Door (2006) .... Brad

Now I don't know about everyone else, but he wasn't in the finale for season 4. I got a little curious and clicked on the episode and came up with this:

Episode Credited cast:
David Caruso .... Lieutenant Horatio Caine
Emily Procter .... Calleigh Duquesne
Adam Rodriguez .... Eric Delko
Rory Cochrane .... Tim Speedle
Khandi Alexander .... Dr. Alexx Woods
Sofia Milos .... Det. Yelina Salas
Jonathan Togo .... Ryan Wolfe

Now that seemed a little odd. Sofia Milos AND Rory Cochrane were mysteriously added to the credits. I thought that maybe IMDB made a mistake so I checked out Sofia Milos' bio page. It said as follows:

"CSI: Miami" .... Det. Yelina Salas (2004-2005)
- One of Our Own (2006) TV Episode .... Det. Yelina Salas
- 10-7 (2005) TV Episode .... Det. Yelina Salas
- Whacked (2005) TV Episode .... Det. Yelina Salas
- Vengeance (2005) TV Episode .... Det. Yelina Salas
- Recoil (2005) TV Episode .... Det. Yelina Salas
(44 more)

Now, I clicked on the episode once again and it said Sofia Milos and Rory Cochrane were credited. I thought this was a little odd. So I thought maybe they added them both to all the credits for season 4. I looked through all the episodes of season 4 and it came up with this each time:

Episode Credited cast:
David Caruso .... Lieutenant Horatio Caine
Emily Procter .... Calleigh Duquesne
Adam Rodriguez .... Eric Delko
Khandi Alexander .... Dr. Alexx Woods
Jonathan Togo .... Ryan Wolfe

No Sofia Milos and no Rory Cochrane.

I then looked for season 3, to see if maybe they added Rory Cochrane to the credits. I checked the episode 10-7. Here's what it said.

Episode Credited cast:
David Caruso .... Lieutenant Horatio Caine
Emily Procter .... Calleigh Duquesne
Adam Rodriguez .... Eric Delko
Khandi Alexander .... Dr. Alexx Woods
Sofia Milos .... Det. Yelina Salas
Jonathan Togo .... Ryan Wolfe

Sofia Milos is there, because she was in the episode but no Rory Cochrane.

Now why would they add Rory in the season 4 finale episode if he was never in it, and it's obvious since he left the show he wouldn't be in the credits. But it's only that one episode. And Sofia Milos wasn't in season 4, but was added to that episode as well.

Now as we probably know, the CSI:Miami team are going to Brazil in season 5. (It's no longer a spoiler since the episode has already aired in the United States) I'm thinking Yelina is back in the picture since her character is in Brazil, so Sofia Milos is coming back to the show.

Now, why would Rory Cochrane be added to that same list if he wasn't coming back to the show? I've been pondering it all day. It might seem a little dumb, that maybe IMDB made a mistake but I like to think outside the box.

Thoughts anyone?

Well I'll say this much, when I first saw lost son, Knowing NOTHING about any of the characters and I saw Speed on the floor I instantly thought "Well he's not really dead." And then Ray came back and i was like "Hm...i bet Speed has something to do with this little undercover thing of his." and then when we first heared about the Mala Nocha gang I thought that maybe Speed has something to do with that as well. And now seeing as they are heared to Brazil because of the Mala Nocha gang and what not...odd line of events? I think NOT! LOL.

And this may or maynot have to do with anything but why did Stetler always ask Horatio about therapy because of Speedle's death and why did Horatio always say "I will go, if you go?" Hmm...makes me wonder.

its a very good theory, because it reminds me of something else as well.

on IMDB: Dean Winters
"CSI: Miami"
- 10-7 (2005) TV Episode .... Raymond Caine
- Golden Parachute (2002) TV Episode .... Raymond Caine

and i went back and watched Golden Parachute, and he definately wasn't in it, but he was credited, and then he came back from the dead.

Speed is credited in One Of Our Own, not being in it, so i think its IMDB's subtle way of telling us that he is coming back from the dead aswell!

*Evil grin* Its not even a week into hiatus yet and we've already catched onto your evil evil plan Donahue! lol....I guess I should stop saying "Freakin ann donahue" now....lol

I think you're on the right track Carly and Katie :D

I also looked up Wanda De Jesus, Christian De La Fuente, and Kim Delaney. All of which left the show, all of which are not credited in anything but their respective episodes. So this does make me think that Rory and Sofia are credited because they'll be returning to the show. Maybe not for a whole season, but hopefully for at least one episode.

And oh yes, we've caught onto Donahue's evil plan.

You know, you'd think we'd learn a few things from watching CSI:Miami for four years.

I would really love to believe in your theory but imdb has so much crap on its site....they had Rory credited for a StarTrek episode and i checked that one out about a dozen times and he definitely wasn´t in it.

Yes, but I've checked recently and they've removed the 'Star Trek' listing for his biography.

It still kind of makes me wonder how they can make the same mistake twice. (Putting Sofia and Rory in the same credit for the same episode that they are not on) It seems kind of a really BIG mistake, or a slip perhaps?

Well, Regardless if this imdb thing was a mistake or a slightly hint or whatever I still think Rory's coming back to Miami, and that is just my opinion and if no one likes...well to each his own I guess.

Here for our Therapy, a Speedle wallpaper:

I miss him so much...want him back for Season 5

That's a very pretty wallpaper Saya_Ray :D

I also want him back for season 5. I don't care if he's a ghost, flashback or just plain there. I want him back. I've waited 2 long years, and it's time us fans got our reward.

Holy saint popsicle sticks batman! I've never seen a wallpaper with pictures on the sides like that before. Great job Saya_Ray.

And yes, I agree with Geni! I want my reward. I mean if I stuck around and watched s4 I should get something....

*cries* Because Ann Donahue has a stick shoved up her a-...Ahem...Because I guess you can't always keep the things you love I guess...

Too bad he'll be back in season 5. I'm counting on it. (By the way, don't panic I'm not basing this on actual information. )
