I posted this in 'Songs for a CSI' already but this thread seems to be more popular so I thought I will post it here again... sry

My brother actually wrote a song about Sara. He's only 13 and I think Sara is his first crush. He's a big Eminem fan so just have the music of 'Mockingbird' in your head. He didn'n mind me putting it here... it goes something like this:

Yeah, he's great! I love him so damn much. He's only 13 (like I already said) but he's so creative. He did some good scoring for me these days. He will make it far some day and I am already very proud of him. I tell him you liked it. He will be happy to hear it. Thanx...

I think I've already put down what song would go with sara but because my memory is bad I'll just put it quickly. Cellophane by amanda Ghost. read the lyrics and you might/might not notice it.

this is an awesome thread. im loving iris by the goo goo dolls and maybe someday by nickleback for GSR.
 
I gotta agree with Iris for Grissom/Sara and Virgin State Of Mind for Sara (two of my favorite songs BTW). For some reason The Leaving Song (not Part Two) from AFI makes me think of Sara as well. Pink's 18 Wheeler brings Catherine to mind. I'll have more later.
 
I think a good song for Nicky would be 'Fix You' from the new Coldplay album.
 
Ok, some that I can think of are:

Grissom: 'Boulevard of Broken Dreams' by Green Day since he is kind of lonely.

GSR: Either 'Let Me Go' by 3 Doors Down or 'Lonely No More' by Rob Thomas because they either need to forget about it or decide to get together already!

Nick: 'I Play Chicken With teh Train' by Cowboy Troy since he like country, and since he has almost died so many times.

Catherine: 'A** Like That' by Eminem since she used to be a stripper and guys prolly thought that about her.

Sara: 'Just Lose It' by Eminem since she has little temper flares and "loses" it some time because of some cases.

Greg: 'Fireproof' by Pillar since he lived through the lab explosion.

Warrick: 'Candy Shop' by 50 Cent just because I could totally see him singing that. *drools at the thought of Warrick being 50 Cent in the Candy Shop video
 
I was just listening to Dido 'No Angel' and this song struck me as being pretty good for Sara - especially after her revelation in ND - I'm still pondering the songs for the rest of the characters...

i think this might make a good sara song. i guess it relates to her family background and also the frustration she is feeling towards grissom and his inability to commit.

Ohh I have a lot of songs in my head for the charatars :) For the moment these:

Sara: Celine Dion & Barbara Streisand with Tell Him
Grissom (and Sara depending how you look at the text): Ilse de Lange with When we don't talk
And also I don't know why but when I hear Michael Andrews with Mad World, I always think of Grissom.
 
Hmmm... for Sara regarding her feelings for Grissom (up until Butterflied) would be 'On my Own' from the Les Miserables musical.
