Sofia Milos Joins New Project At My Network TV

A new network is premiering on cable television this fall, and <font color=yellow>Sofia Milos</font> (Yelina Salas) has already landed a role for one of its shows.

My Network TV, MNT for short, will launch on September 5th, 2006, and plans an all-telenovela lineup for its first season. A telenovela is the term used to describe Spanish and Portuguese television serials, which are often compared to the United States's soap operas.

Milos has joined the cast of Desire: Table For Three, playing Victoria Marston, the Lady Macbeth or the Joan Collins of the show. The program also stars <font color=yellow>Michelle Belegrin</font>, <font color=yellow>Nate Haden</font>, and <font color=yellow>Zack Silva</font>.

According to the Futon Critic, Desire, "chronicles the destruction of a family and the bonds of brotherhood take center stage when two brothers on the run from the mafia find themselves in a heated battle of passion, betrayal, deceit and murder over the woman they both love."

Well, some of Sofia's fans have been doing a little research of their own. Unofficial announcements about her possible return to CSI:Miami have been made in the H/Y thread in Shipper Central and The Yelina/Sofia Thread in the Miami Forum. Some of us have been corresponding with Sofia herself and the Miami writer Corey Miller. Let's just say, we're very hopeful but wary after what happened last season! ;)
