Slash Poetry # 1

Wow, we've got a lot of talent on this board. All of your poems are awesome! Well, here's mine to add to the collection:

A Danny/Flack Poem
Flack's POV

Your soulful eyes beckon to me,
And I obey their command,
With absolute certainty,
That I know what you'll demand,
A round of beers,
And a talk between two friends,
About your new love,
Even though I know how it will end,
You will walk away,
With your arm around her waist,
And Ill be left sitting there,
Just wanting to know how your mouth tastes.

Hi and Welcome to this thread, Imperfect and Bethybug. Those were two beautiful poems, thanks for sharing. Looking forward to more from you guys in the future :).

Thanks MiaCharlize.

Okay, here are two more Danny/Flack poems.

I wonder how it would be,
To feel your lips against mine,
I wonder how it would be,
To wake up with our bodies intertwined,
I wonder how it would be,
If you knew that I've wanted you all this time,
I wonder how it would be,
To hold you every night,
I wonder how it would be,
To wake up with you in the morning light,
I wonder how it would be,
If we were lovers side by side.

I don't know how to tell you,
But I'm in love with my best friend,
He's funny, he's smart,
He's the kind of guy on whom you can depend,
And I know it's weird coming from me,
But the two of us are meant to be,
If you haven't guessed who I'm talking about,
Look in the mirror,
And you'll figure it out.

Thanks MiaCharlize!

sara/catherine (sara's pov)

sometimes i lie awake in bed
when the alcohol can't stop my thoughts
and i think about you
your face
you body
you beautiful eyes
as i close my eyes
i wish i would wake up in your arms
sometimes i think it do
i can smell your perfume
and feel your touch
as if it were real
but when i open my eyes
it's always the same
an empty bed next to me

I wrote something at work today, it's a little depressing cause I'm sick :(

In my head it was Sofia talking, but that's up to the reader

I listen to the rain drumming heavily against the window
It is stormy outside, like the night we first kissed
There's a distant roar of thunder, though I can hardly hear, for it is drowned out by the volume of my heart

How happy once we've been, I muse, taking a months long trip down memory lane
How in love
Now look at me, tears falling in tune with the raindrops on the pane
Look at what you've done to me
Look at what I've done to myself
I've become the image I've despised all my life
A woman with a broken heart, a woman who trusted, a woman who loved
A woman who gave the key to her soul, to have the door pound down on somebody's way out
You should at least have locked it
To provide a barrier for my pain
Instead you left me open and weak, with neither defense nor self control
Just the remainder of who I used to be, a hollow shell where my spirit has flown out
To follow you in vain

Through the rainy streets, the coldest night, to the bar where you drink in silence
Without wasting any more time on me
