Ok, I may as well post in here, since I'm a bit of a slash whore. I like some het, but I'm mainly all about the slash.
NY is my main show, so I don't really have pairings that I like all that much for Vegas or Miami.
For NY, my main slash pairing is Danny/Flack. I also like Danny/Adam, Mac/Adam and Hawkes/Adam (little canon basis, but I RP Adam in a relationship with Hawkes and it grew on me
). I also like a bit of Danny/Hawkes or Mac/Hawkes, and maybe some Mac/Flack if the fic is good.
Now for
why I like them.
Danny/Flack: It's D/F, what can I say? They were my first ship, and they're still my OTP for the show. I love the subtext and the friendship, and what I
really love is how well that translates and deepens when you delve beyond canon.
Danny/Adam: I just like when these two are together. They both geek out a bit, and bringing out Danny's geeky side is never a bad thing.
I also love Danny's teasing behavior toward Adam, and the fact that Adam, while a bit nervous and scatterbrained, doesn't take crap from anybody, especially not Danny Messer.
Mac/Adam: Adam clearly looks up to Mac, but I'm not convinced it's in a paternal way. Possibly, but that's only one way to look at it. I think there is definitely a facet to their interaction that is slashy. Adam is a bit of a fangirl for Mac, which I love. I didn't like Mac yelling at Adam in "Past Imperfect," and I think that could have various interpretations and implications for a relationship between them. Good stuff, baby, good stuff.
Hawkes/Adam: This one is a bit unusual. They don't have all that much screentime individually or together, but like I mentioned above, I've been RPing a relationship between the two of them, and I've started writing fics. I can't help it, I lurves them.
Danny/Hawkes,
Mac/Hawkes and
Mac/Flack: Sometimes I'll see some subtext in the show that really does it for me.
Mostly, I ship the pairings listed above, in terms of thinking about them and possibly writing for them--but these three are some that I can see and might read about if I come across a fic.
I'm not big on femmeslash, possibly because I can't write it. I have nothing against it, though, and can definitely see subtext or get ideas from time to time.
