Captain
Hello World!

I will never get Daylight Savings Time, nor will I pretend to. It annoys me and I can't even use it as an excuse to be late for work, since we don't change our clocks here.

Anyway, as some of you know, I'm an amateur photographer. I'm also an amateur pastry chef, an amateur stay-at-home-actress, and an amateur dashboard Hawaiian dancers collector. Or not. I take a lot of pictures, but I have no one to show them to, as I'm too lazy to create an online portfolio. Kristine (Huntley) got too tired to hear me complain so she suggested I posted my pictures here. Or something like that. The specifics are a little inebriated, but I thought what the hell.

This first picture I took on a trip to the Dominican Republic. Believe it or not, this little boy had the most beautiful blue eyes I've ever seen in my life. He was waiting outside a little store while his mother bought some rice. Villa Sinda (where my mother's family is from) is one of the poorest villages in the island. While there, my trusty Fuji s5000 broke and I had to use my cousin's el cheap-o Canon, thus the meh quality.

This Week On TV

[*]Next Monday at 10:00pm, CSI: Miami's episode "Free Fall" will air on CBS. Here's how the network described it:

"Leo and Sienna's illegal activities transformed them from common criminals to media darlings. However, after they are released from jail, their past misdeeds catch up with them. Meanwhile, Calleigh's ex-boyfriend from the U.S. Treasury office is assigned to help her on the case."

[*]On Wednesday night at 10pm, CBS will air the season 1 CSI: New York episode "Tanglewood." Here's a brief synopsis:

"When a man is beaten to death with a baseball bat in a park, Mac and Stella are introduced to a group of young gang members called the Tanglewood Boys -- young men who kill for sport and not business. Mac and Stella's case complicates when a convenience store clerk is shot dead and the murder is also gang related. Meanwhile, Danny and Aiden investigate a hit and run accident that leads them to an illegal massage parlor."

[*] CSI returns on Thursday night at 9pm with the new episode "Spellbound." Here's how the network described it:

"During a "reading" with two young women, the psychic begins to see visions of her own murder instead of information pertaining to her clients. When she is later found dead in her occult shop, it is up to the CSI team to determine her true cause of death. Greg, who reveals to Grissom that an expertise in the "occult" runs in his family, suspects greater forces may be responsible for the woman's demise, but Grissom steadfastly maintains that science will always crack the case in the end."

[/list]

In addition to the above episodes on CBS, cable channel SpikeTV will of course continue its daily CSI repeats.
