Captain
<font size="3">Hello World!</font>

Tra la, it's May, the lusty month of television sweeps. Which invariably means twice the sex and death of any regular month of television-watching. And I'm having my annual "series finale" dilemma.

Ever since La Femme Nikita, Star Trek: Voyager and Xena: Warrior Princess all ended their runs with episodes that I found painful to watch, I think twice before watching any series' concluding episode. Will there be gratuitous character killings? Will all the wrong couples end up together? Probably.

This year the crisis focuses on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Dawson's Creek. The WB is happily running ads touting a character death on the latter, and I can't even keep track of the number of characters who've died on Buffy only to un-die later; that show must rival Star Trek in that regard. But this time any death will probably stick.

To watch or not to watch? I can't decide...
