GregNickRyanFan: I tend to use a lot of layers--to do that particular effect, make sure the main pic you're going to layer is on a separate layer by itself, then copy it and layer it on top of itself and so on and so forth. I use Paint.net for all my graphic work. I used to have photoshop CS3 but I lost it after my last reformat.

Thanks for the explanation. I had PSP Photo XI, but lost it after my cousin reformatted my hard drive and my brother lost the disk when I loaned it to him. :lol: My cousin put Photoshop 7 on here for me, but I am having a hard time figuring the stupid thing out. It's a lot more difficult for me than PSP and I hadn't yet figured that one out completely. The whole layering thing confuses me. I'll have to play around with Photoshop for a while before I'll be able to figure it out. :lol:

Ah...yeah it stinks to lose things when reformatting. I lost quite a bit of stuff the last time I reformatted...I was trying out the new Windows 7 operating system and it ended up becoming demonic and locking up my SEPARATE hard drive and compromised nearly 500 gigs worth of pictures, music, movies, and tv series I had--I could only restore so much and I've been gradually getting it all back myself--minus photoshop cs3 since I can do just as well, if not better, with Paint.net since I figured out a few tricks with it.
It's rather simple and efficient actually. You can download it for free from the paint.net site.
